Seems it might be a hardware issue.. but i've experienced my own share of i7 and i7 plus issues to say i can never use them again

my advice if you can sell it off and add up and get a good 8, it'll be worth it

mine jst got shattered
do i necessary hv to change the whole back or just the glass? and what are the effects... heard when the back glass is changed the phone starts developing issues.

The thumbprint button is like a touch screen not a button like it used to.
And most times it over hypes,like when i press it once it reacts and presses itself like three times or more
P.s.....it doesn’t affect the fingerprint

i6s+ for sure. The i6s only loses to big battery and optical image stabilization (OIS) asides from that, it’s same phone with 6s+

i6+ is known for touch disease. In short, i6 and i6+ aren’t recommended in 2020.

yes iphone 7, 7plus and 8s home button are different from the 6 and 5s home button. its a static version that's force sensitive. Instead of a button that physically moves, the new home button uses Apple's taptic engine to to work. so when ur phone is off ur home button looks are if its stocked. to set how u press and how it responds pls go to ur setting and locate the home button settings

i will advice you to change the complete back,I have seen many people regret changing the glass alone cos the phone starts to have issues after changing the glass.

this is mostly caused by liquid,some times it works after servicing the home button.
