Yes, you can use firebase functions to create dynamic pages

You can't host PHP site or WordPress website only HTML,CSS,JavaScript( its framework like React, Vue, Angular ) or any site that run only HTML,CSS,JavaScript on it.

Even Mysql database can't work but you can run it with MongoDB.
In short any JavaScript site is a go.

With node js , JavaScript or react you can build a webmail or use third party webmail

Actually firebase has its own database which is a NoSQL database
