Hello nairalanders
Please help a brother, I have this serious health challenge eating me up, it all started when I had an unprotected intercourse, I noticed itching in the opening of my penis, I started treating with some antibiotics and injections, after a while I felt better for a period of time... only for it to resurface and my penis started paining me I went back to hospital for a check up but the doctor said I have no infection, I have gone to different hospitals carried out series of test with no positive result only one doctor told me that he notice a pus in my urine which could be a sign of urinary tract infection, but he didn't place on any medication because I told him that have been taken series of antibiotics.

I have taken almost all kinds of antibiotics but to no avail, right now I feel severe ache on my lowerback and lower abdomen, both sharp and dull pain in my body flanks,
Please fellow nairalanders what could this be, I fear it could be prostatitis or kidney disease maybe the infection has spread all over my body organs, and why is it resistance to all forms of antibiotics,
I'm even afraid now cos i have been on strong antibiotics for over four months now.

If you have taken so much antibiotics and it is not going away, this could be a viral infection...with that, antibiotics just won't do. You possibly need to see a doc with a sound background in Virology.
