kikake: Stop exposing yourself, Oga. Rochas was the person that established the school of nursing at Okporo, he finished that one on time before the others. He did not declare anything 3 or 4 months before the expiration of his government, the 3 or 4 months issue was when NUC accredited the schools for operation. Higher institutions is not like a secondary school that will be built and the next day you place a signboard for parents and guidance to come and register their wards, there are some procedures and channels you have to follow. Rochas finished most of the schools one year before the expiration of his government. Some of us were asking if he will use his influence and get accreditation from NUC for the schools before he leaves office, and God being so kind, NUC honoured their request. Action of Ihedioha in closing down the schools is not in any way justifiable. The IMSUTH and the school of nursing Amaigbo built by Udenwa got accreditation few months before the expiration of his government and Ohakim did not close anyone when he took over. Infact, some of the courses in IMSUTH got accredited during Rochas government. Ihedioha acted like a tout, a man without a foresight. But kikake or Denis, you have been lamenting here that nothing is in Orlu and the previous government of Imo state abandoned Orlu, then how comes you are now accepting that there are schools in Orlu but close down by Ihedioha. I believe you don't know Amaigbo or the route to Amaigbo because it can be told all-over you that you don't know that a school of nursing has been existing there for the past 15yrs. Are you from where again? 1 Like |

I sanctity454: During the last 20 years or so, all types of intervention constructions had taken place to stop flooding and destruction of roads around this St Joseph Church area in Umuna, but because the flood control tunnel started by Ikwechegh government to channel floods into the Orashi valley was not completed, floods continue to destroy many areas around the Church. Hopefully, gov Uzodinma shall complete the tunnel so that the floods problem is solved completely. 1 Like |

sanctity454: Good job. There have been many suggestions for gov Uzodinma to dualize this road from Oru East through Orlu to Nkwerre to make for one bigger metropolis after providing pipe borne water here. People of Imo state need a new modern town to build and settle in. 1 Like |

With the move of the CBN to exclusively deny common businessmen of foreign exchange, while DANGOTE now gets even greater exclusive rights to the country's Foreign currency. The time has come for businesses to float international money transfer services for Nigerian businesses and for Nigerians abroad. TRUST is the key factor needed for Nigerians abroad to trust using this Nigerian owned App for money transfer. Unless Nigerians abroad use the APP for money transfer, the set up will never be successful. So they must be very diligent to avoid any type of Nigerian behavior of mago-mago with peoples' money, else it will not command the confidence these historical money transfer services have. This will help those supporting their aged parents with stipend with a better exchange rate than what CBN offer, , and also international money transfer into the international bank account of ordinary Nigerian businesses who need foreign currency but cannot compete with the Dangote. They can get foreign currency paid directly into their foreign bank accounts when they pay in naira using their local bank accounts through a participating Nigerian bank. 1 Like
