The same Niger is bigger than the whole SW states combined.
No sw is 79,000km2 while Niger is 77,000km2. So southwest is larger than Niger state

Ibadan is 10,000km2

Shifting the goal post right. SW is 30000 sqm while Niger is 29,400sqm. The SW is bigger with 600 sqm difference, lol. Similar to the SE which is 1000 sqm bigger than Oyo.

Op definitely didn't mean Nsukka as a local government area as many have misconstrued. He surely meant Nsukka as an area of uniform development covering the entirety of Nsukka, Udenu, Igbo Eze North, Igbo Eze South, and Igbo Etiti local government areas of Enugu State, and a significant part of Uzo Uwani and Isi Uzo LGA. This area is as densely populated as any city in contention, and save for its thick rainforest vegetation, an aerial shot would have revealed it as a humongous urban sprawl in the likes of Ibadan. I don't know what this area measures, but anybody interested in finding out should work with the info herein -- not posting a screenshot of the area of Nsukka LGA only.

Lol this was fun. What I just wanted to tell you people is that those figures you guys are pulling from Wikipedia are unreliable. If they can give Nsukka such figure (which I doubt is the real figure) how do you expect me to believe that of Ibadan or anywhere at all. Truth is Nigeria has a long way to go in Geo Informatics; until then, let's keep guessing.

Is sqm the same as km? Niger is 76,363km, SW total is between 77,000 - 77,500km.
Oyo state is 3 states in the SW (Lagos, Ekiti, Osun). Only Ondo and Ogun are sparse but each is still below 20,000km. Now do the maths.

Imagine grin
If Oyo state is bigger or equal the 5 SE states.

That means Ibadan will be bigger than Ebonyi, Anambra and part of IMO state
Does that mean, Nnsuka is bigger than Anambra and Ebonyi? grin grin

Do you believe the bolded in the above crap?

The figures i wrote above is in sqkm and that’s the standard not sqm. SW total should be 79,000sqkm i think

I had sympathy by saying Oyo is 3 SW states, but looking at the map carefully, I can say that Oyo is equivalent to 4 SW states (Ondo, Osun, Ekiti and Lagos) Lagos is replete with lagoon and swamp just forgotten.

Well I’m not really sure of that. We can only be sure of Oyo State landmass which is 28,000 sqkm with Ibadan taking almost 10,000km2

Which Ibadan is bigger than Enugu and Anambra States? Do you think you are the only human being who has visited Ibadan? This is loudmouthed crap that tends to reduce most Nigerians into none thinkers. The fact that Oyo State is a waste of land mass does not translate into a city like Ibadan bigger than Anambra and Enugu States.

1. If you've visited Ibadan, one thing I'm sure is you've not visited 10% of Ibadan.

2. Oyo state is a waste land, yet It has more industries than Enugu, her IGR is higher than Enugu (Both are regional capital oo)

3. Anambra landmass is 4,844 km² Enugu Landmass is 7,161 km² = 12,005km²

While
Ibadan landmass is around 10,000km².

So what's the difference

You’re not informed. Oyo State total landmass is 28,000km2 with 33 local governments. Ibadan alone has 11 local governments with almost 10,000km2.

So yes, Ibadan is larger than Anambra State and Enugu state

Spare me this nonsensical crap. If I had been in the corridor power immediately after Nigeria/Biafra war, I would have given Enugu city 24 LGAs. Please proffer the criteria used in creating LGAs in Nigeria other than jungle politics. It is a shame some people will suggest craps created by certain characters from Nigeria as a proof of anything.

Good (fake) news. Azikiwe did invest well in Nsuka or Nsukka. Let us turn it to Lagos.

I honestly thought Abuja would entice most people out of Lagos creating some fresh air.

You don't seem to be a critical thinker. Must everything be written for you in Black and White?

What he is inferring is that same way Oyo state is almost a large as the entire SEast, Niger state is as large as entire SWest. So nothing spectacular to brag about. If you think Oyo has the number to Igbos, Niger state has the number to Yorubas..

Thank me later.

Shut up your putrid mouth. Who determined the boundary of stinking Ibadan in order to peg the area at 9,000sqkm? These dumbass loudmouths will say anything under the Sun to appear relevant. By the way, it takes one super Ode such as you to recognize one on the forum.
