Op definitely didn't mean Nsukka as a local government area as many have misconstrued. He surely meant Nsukka as an area of uniform development covering the entirety of Nsukka, Udenu, Igbo Eze North, Igbo Eze South, and Igbo Etiti local government areas of Enugu State, and a significant part of Uzo Uwani and Isi Uzo LGA. This area is as densely populated as any city in contention, and save for its thick rainforest vegetation, an aerial shot would have revealed it as a humongous urban sprawl in the likes of Ibadan. I don't know what this area measures, but anybody interested in finding out should work with the info herein -- not posting a screenshot of the area of Nsukka LGA only.

If you don't know what those areas measure then you have no point.

You guys are always talking about how Oyo state is bigger than the whole SE, but every Yoruba is from Lagos. Why use size when the zinc oxide in Ibadan can kill half th population of Nigeria. grin

That's because you've not left your hamlet located beside the evil forest in the east.

Go to Ibadan and see your family members drinking the zinc oxide with relish, happy and confident that one Nigeria means they can never be asked to relocate forcefully back to the land that is slowly being washed into the River Niger.

Iwo road is not one local government but the head office of a local government

Ok let me school you

Egbeda and Ona Ara are the most tiny of the local government areas after the municipal

The municipal is tiny which is right in the middle of the town.

Municipal

Ibadan south West: Oluyole Estate

Ibadan North : Agodi

Ibadan South East : Mapo

Ibadan North East : Iwo road

Ibadan North West : Onireke
..............................................................
Sub Urban

Ona Ara : Igboho

Ido: igbona

Oluyole : idi Ayunre

Lagelu: iyana offa

Egbeda: Egbeda

Akinyele: Moniya

Ido local government and Akinyele are the Largest followed by Oluyole

I am pretty sure you have not been to Oleyo, Idi Ayure, Iyana Akufo or iddo

You be amazed to see Mini towns in ibadan

Ibadan is actually the only town in Nigeria to be cut into two senatorial district

Oyo South and Oyo central.

Lol I think it is towns that make up local Governments not local governments making up a town. Una for add more local governments naa what are you waiting for?

Your geography stinks.

I am from anambra so the LGA here are very small. Onitsha south and north are not up to gidan kwano campus of futmx. My LGA njikoka is like an estate in Ibadan. Just leave this argument it above your IQ.

Just admit that you falsified a website to brag and now you've been found out.

If you attended any primary school, part of the curriculum will tell you that Ibadan is the largest city in Africa south of the Sahara and second only to Cairo.

Heck, this was what our primary and secondary school quizzes and debates in those days were made of.

Now some urchin thinks it's an addendum to a Wikipedia page.

All these indomie children sha. Smh.
Oh grandpa, leave me alone how do you know that I falsified anything? You just open mouth and be talking what you like.

What I'm saying is that gathering all the villages in the local governments around Ibadan to say they are part of Ibadan is deceit but if you want to continue with the deceit, then add more LGS; abi LGS don finish for Oyo state?

Oga most of those places you call villages are now part of metropolitan ibadan. Look at Moniya, if you know that axis very well, if you are coming from Oyo town on expressway, immediately you reach Amosun village just before Sogunro area, you will begin to see houses built sporadically around that axis and those who live in that place essentiallt see themselves as living in ibadan, the place is not called moniya town but Moniya area as part of ibadan. The same thing applies to Egbeda too which is now part of core ibadan, ditto for areas like Ejioku on the road Iwo town which are now fast becoming parts of ibadan. Adittionally, look below for Oluyile local government with headquarters in Idi-Ayunre, look at the areas very well, if you know ibadan well, is Odo-Ona elewe a village? Is Muslim ifelodun a village,? Those places are now developing sites where most people leaving the city center due to high rent are now building their houses and they are now part of the larger ibadan.

In that part of the country once you have one 3 storey building in a village, it means that village has become a city.

That's the definition of a city in potopoto republic.

Accepted, but that doesn't change the fact that oyo state is bigger than South Eastern Nigeria and Ibadan bigger than imo, ebonyi, anambra and abia States.

I wonder why the sticking backwater known as Ibadan was not made a state when the Yari.ba were in the lockstep with their Fulani and northern political elites masters.
