Just thinking which you prefer as a man, different strokes for different folks. There are times your privacy is needed. What are the merits and demerits?

Though i'm not married but when i do i prefer my own room biko i don't want rubbish

I will have my separate room where I keep my clothing et al. However, I and my husband will be sleeping in the same room.

This is one of those things that people may say you can't really know what you'd do until you're married and living or cohabiting with someone.

I still feel I'd prefer my own room for my belongings and sleeping, the belongings part is easy but the sleeping part probably isn't always the most practical. (Yes preference is different to what may actually happen)

It's one of those 'seemingly' trivial things which are actually quite serious...to me. Or is it not trivial? I don't know

Nollywood movies script couples in one room, but at the slightest provocation most times due to demand for sex, one of them grabs a pillow and dashes out in anger.

By and large, I submit there is need for privacy even in marriage, moments to reflect without undue distraction until you're fully recovered and recalibrated to mingle.

Get married first and be sure you can afford the luxury of 4-5 bedrooms in a decent environment. You can't be living in one or two rooms and be talking about separate rooms. The kids need one at least, another one for guest, I guess.

Probably after being done with children, couples may need more space

The merits certainly outweighs the demerits. Sleep together whether you feel like it or not, I believe it keeps the bond stronger.
