Of late, I am finding it difficult to participate in religious activities... I am becoming intolerant of church things.. They just bore me.

I guess because I have accumulated so much questions for many years in my heart that no one has given me solid answers. For the records, I started playing piano for my church at 12... I led others... But I realised I am not settled down with some things they taught me from the Bible.


1. Story of Esau
You told me that Esau sold his BIRTH RIGHT by "begging" food from his brother. Wait. How many children, or how many of us did not beg or collect food from our house younger bro or sis while growing?

Jacob deceived his old man to steal from his brother... Yet we saw "Esau I have hated, Jacob have I loved". Even after everything, Esau still loved his brother yet his offsprings were always detested. Haba! Why Is this legally correct?


2. Ishmael Story and Sarai

And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the Lord hath heard thy affliction. ..


And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking. [10] Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac. Genesis 21: 9 - 10


Wait.. Na Sarai ask this woman to go in with her husband. Ishmael was confirmed by angel. How, how old was Ishmael when he mock Sarai? Can't Sarai scold the child? Rather you sent him away from his inheritance... Labeled him "Egyptian".

You sent them away with just Bottle of water... Isn't this singular act the cause of the wahala of Islam and Christianity today? They won't let me have a Muslim girl before religion... OK.

Now is this legally correct?

3. Wall of Jericho

Wetin the wall do Isrealites You are the one going up and down causing mayhem on people in their own territories... You went round the walls 7 times! Abi how many? Why not just round it and continue your journey on the other side You attack everyone and anyone on your way... Why?

Forget about the letters in the story... Concentrate on the messages in the story.. The writers are trying to pass a message across.. They are not telling you real stories.. They are not journalist..


In my village we use animals.. To tell the stories, no body ask stupid questions.. We just sit back and learn the messages in it..

The Bible stories are true stories, real events that happened. Thanks for atleast encouraging one to get the message which he obviously didn't and will address.

1) Jacob asked Esau to sell his birthright and he will give him porridge. If your junior brother demands that you give him the rightful inheritance of your Father inexchange for the laps of chicken he is roasting, will you agree. Esau despised his birthright.

"Esau have I hated Jacob have I lived". God answered that question in Isaiah "Shall the pot say unto the Potter, what are you doing?"
God said unto Pharoah "For this cause have i raised thee up that I may show my glory".
You can't question God. You can only plead for his Mercy.

How can you sit year after year with questions, without once ever thinking, I probably have to go find the answers for my own self rather than continue to depend on your so-called pastors/teachers feeding you the vomit out of their mouths that obviously you are not satisfied with?

Esau did not beg in the same way that you and I did as Children. He signed away his birthright as an adult, not as a child.
