Secondly it's not really about someone good with a particular product or brand.
If you can get someone that understands automotive electronics you are good to go. If you need one you can hit me up.

the car cannot start with key. mechanic did some direct connection to start it.

Madam, I don't know if your car is a push to start system or mechanical key, I only need those information so as to know where to start from, each car brand has a way in which there ignition system is designed, though they have they have the same working principles. I have fixed BMW, BENZ, Japanese vehicles and Fords i can tell you they have a completely different systems, but the same working principles. I just need those infos to know where and how to start diagnosing your vehicle.

Pls can you be more specific with what you said is wrong with it, direct connections, what kind of direct connection, I'm sure your car will be equipped with an immobiliser, that won't make your car start without the key near the key cylinder. So I need in depth details, or better still, we can make an appointment to diagnose your car.

Madam Op, don't let anyone remotely diagnose anything for You....Google mechanics full dis forum...Take Tpound's advice and run with it...it's your best bet....If possible, go to the Ojuelegba first without the car, ask questions who fixes your car type, contact the person and see for sure that he isn't a Jack of all trade but specializes in Americana vehicles before you submit your vehicle...Or more simply, there are many notable members of this forum who you can contact and ask for definite referrals for such mechs....One of them is even a woman like yourself

Also try not to go alone to wherever you are getting the car fixed..Get a man or even men
to accompany you to avoid any "I thy no" situations

OP if one does not usually talk in discussions or have a discussion page of his own does not make someone incompetent. I know myself and what I'm capable of, and I'm ready to defend it. So pls other OP it's your choice to choose whoever you want to work on your car. Thanks
