State IGR report.

1. Kaduna makes more IGR than Kano and Anambra

2. Enugu with no oil makes more IGR than Abia with crude oil and Aba

3. Anamba with Onitsha and Nnewi makes less IGR than Ondo

4. Yobe (with Boko Haram) makes more IGR than Ebonyi (with local rice)

No they are poor in their states. Most of the well-to-do people of those areas are living and working in other region. Hence, the governors of Anambra and Enugu will not be able to charge taxes on them.

Why should it be that it’s only the Eastern Governors that fail to declare their IGR? That means the Northern states reporting low IGR are also failing to declare their IGR.

What about the poverty metrics? Are they also failing to declare their riches? Such that the WorldBank, UNDP, NBS, and etc rate the SE low in the south. Infact Ebonyi was termed the poverty capital of the south.

Even in the 1950s, the Northern Region generated more revenue than the Eastern Region. After they got crude oil, the Nigerian government already separated the Igbos from the rest of the minorities and the Igbos continue to be the poverty capital of the south.

So nothing new about their poverty!

I strongly believe Anambra IGR is far more than what they declared. Onisha alone can do better...

Hmm. Bolo Haram ravaged states are still generating more IGR than Ebonyi Abia is a total disappointment.

Edo, ekiti, sokoto, ebonyi do rake in more than what they declare as there IGR.
