After signing a deal with Cowbell [Promasidor ] to revive the redundant Ikun dairy farm, and getting 100 cattle from Zamfara to cross-breed with Jersey cows, Ekiti begins production of milk to supply Cowbell's factory in Lagos. The plan is to supply 10,000 litres of milk daily.

This is nice, we need more of this.

Look at how big the cows are sef, no be all those lean Fulani herdsmen cow wey dey always waka about grin

I'm sure if the Fulanis can start ranching instead of just walking up and down the country, their cows will also be as big as this, if they are fed well. Though this cows are crossbred between Fulani cows and cows from Jersey, Fulani cows should be able to be as big as this if they are fed well.

Hmmmmm very innovative initiative I must admit.

Other SW governors take note. There is a great need to diversify from skull mining.

This is a laudable project. At least, it will bring income generation and employment creation.

EKITI: Fountain of Knowledge.

Kudos to Governor John Kayode Fayemi & more wins to Promasidor.

I hope they are still organizing their Cowbell Mathematics Competition. Quite educative!

To start with, Nigeria needs to divide for there to be a fresh breath for the individuals that constitute it and not just 1% who are the top of the pyramid.

I think this country is too populated for the administrative capability of our leaders, aside the huge corruption and injustice that pervade it.

Nigeria needs to break up into 3 or 4 countries. In less than 2 decades, Arewastan will become probably Africa's hub for agriculture produce and solid mineral export, lifting tens of millions out of poverty. The east will become a manufacturing giant and the west an African hub for technological companies, etc.

The only sets of people enjoying this quandary are the politicians, their friends whom they give bogus contracts and collect their own share from, the federal govt workers at plum agencies like FIRS, CBN, NCS, NNPC etc, and a minute percentage of people working in big private/foreign organizations. Unlike what obtains in other climes. This is sad.

There are civilized ways to rear cattle, cows e.g. ranching, but the Fulanis here don't want to spend money on cattle feed, reason they embrace open cattle grazing and destroying people's farmlands.

Yorubas will teach them how it is done as usual and before you know it, their elites (the cattle owners) will learn to do the right thing.
Development opportunities plenty for Nigeria and Africa.
