Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Mhammadu Buhari, has said that Nigerians were lucky to have a leader like his principal.

Adesina made the remark while dismissing attempts to pitch him against his principal.The presidential spokesman maintained that Buhari was leading Nigeria well.

In a post on his Facebook, Adesina wrote: “A quote from mischief-makers is making the rounds, ascribed to me. I just dey laugh.

“I am a Buharist any day, no apologies, and I believe the president and I believe the president is leading the country well. In fact, we are lucky to him at a time like this.All attempts to demonize me will fail.”

Just a few days ago, a former Presidential Adviser, Tanko Yakassai had passed a vote of no confidence on Buhari.Yakassai had described Buhari as an incompetent leader who can’t fix the problems in the country.

"......He lamented that under President Buhari, Nigeria’s economy is characterised by significant loss of output, massive youth unemployment, a rising level of poverty, instability and irregular migration of skilled and unskilled labour, a situation he described as a national embarrassment and a disgrace to a country that is endowed with abundant resources.

He said another four years of Buhari administration would be catastrophic with the current government’s unprecedented incompetence and enthronement of mediocrity in dealing with the horrendous spate of killings and general insecurity across the country.

According to Adesina, Buhari’s(military) regime led Nigeria on the right path “till forces of reaction struck, and we were back to worse than square one”.

....And if that regime had lasted for longer, Nigeria would not be in the doldrums that she found herself. It was a tough administration, but which was leading us on the right path.

Adesina added that he remains a “dyed-in-the-wool Buharist” irrespective of what others see as “foibles and failings of the administration”

Even as dis doesn't concern the topic, I will answer you. Maybe Buhari judged from his mindset. That is a problem dat can be fixed, if security is correct.Its also old news.
Everywhere in Katsina is safe now? Meanwhile PDP's 16 years, and yet boko haram was still thriving.
