Black forest cobras don't spit. Though it is a very aggressive venomous snake that can rear it's head to a considerable height to bite. And they make all effort with determination to do that. I killed one a little smaller than this one last week in my compound. Every year, I kill one. Though, last year it was a baby one I killed. The recent one was the largest I've ever killed. There are other types of cobra that spits, but not this very aggressive and dangerous one.

And it is called Black Forest Cobra.

It tail has a broken line which means it is a non-venomous snake. That's a black bush snake, it could also be a rat snake.

This is the first thread (I have seen) of a dead snake, that is not accompanied by pepper-soup in some hideous pot.

Venoms are found only in the head of snakes, that is aside the fact that they are potent when injected, not ingested. So, even if na inland taipan, men go chop am, clean mouth.
