If the book is about racism, then that's all the book will talk about. It won't tell you that people are human beings who enjoy companionship first and foremost. Many guys on social Media are complaining about the manslaughter charge on the cop and can't understand why he wasn't charged with first degree murder.

This is why it's important to be calculative and not get too emotive on an issue. There is no court that would convict that guy on first degree murder as it wasn't premeditated or planned. He was called to an incident, completely ruling out premeditation. 2nd degree murder charge is also likely to fail as it would be difficult to prove it was willful intention of causing death. Manslaughter charge is the only charge that will stick. If they can get the FBI to throw in some Civil rights charges, hopefully they can extend the guys prison time and deliver some modicum of justice. Also the guy is said to have been the subject of 18 investigations. FBI should trawl through these including his 3 shootings to see if they can compound his legal woes.

For better context, your argument sounds like you are saying students in unilag will be have a better hold on Nigerian politics than someone that stays in dunukofia LGA.
You see how that doesn't make sense.
Nigerian politics is not confined to the University of lagos, it is a national issue.

Sameway, racism is a global issue not confined to only those in the UK.
