[color=#0066ff]Science xplains that One chromosome in each pair of chromosomes is sex Chromosome while the rest of the 22 Cells are autosomes. In a Female, this pair of Sex chromosomes are alike and may be designed as x and x (I.e xx), In the case of male they are different, designed as x and y (I.e xy)! At Conception one pair is eliminated, In the case of the Female, the one that is retained will always be x while In the case of the male it could be the x or y. If an x-type S-p-e-r-m fuses with the Egg, the child is bound to be Female xx, whereas if y-type S-p-e-r-m fuses with the Egg, the Child is Male xy!!  Now this Succinctly proves Every Criticism received by the Females about this Situation Unjustifiable and i would like seeing Us [Men] think and take things the way they are meant!  [/color] |

You simply can't blame men for everything. many of the men with this mentality have it because their wives are just as daft. Some women who know will even sit there and beg their in laws to give herone more chance to have a son so that the man does not try with another woman. I say Nigerian men are only as bad as Nigerian women let them be. |

My Question is Why did guys went outside their matrimonial homes to dating a concubine based on the frustrations with their wives giving births to females every nine months. It may interest you to know to know that those so-called 'concubines' they dated outside eventually giving births to males at first pregnancy (Whether the pregnancy was accidental or planned) . ^^^ what exactly is your point  @topic Though science is doing its bits, my believe is that it is God's ultimate decision to give either a male or a female to a couple. People should just accept whichever they have and make the best of it. In this age, people shouldn't harp so much on the gender but on bringing up their children as unique individuals, whether male or female. |

I am most ok with Gods choice and also the tread details because our sexualogist expartist have told same thing I ve 3 boys no girl yet and am just kool wirh it. Apart from the X Y genetic system, research also said, depending on how active the man is during, The X remain active if ur man was less active during sexual intercourt while the Y remains very active if the man is active. And the womans ovulations is also got to help, there are degital device to know when a woman egg is active, if the man mets her that day it is for sure a boy, when the eggs are becomes weak eventually it became a girl even if the man suplies his Y. Plappville the idea that the weak sperm becomes a girl is ridiculous to say the least. Unless he meant to say that male sperm are better swimmers and you misinterpreted that. The X chromosome is actually genetically superior to the Y. Not saying one is better than the other. They both have the very important roles they play. There is no scientific information that I have read that suggests that the weaker sperm become girls LOL |

Outstrip:What would you have the woman do? In most cultures the male children get all or most of the inheritance. A woman that does not have a male chil looses out if the man produces a male outside. Nigerian women are only suffering as much as the Nigerian men and culture let them suffer. This issue of male child is deep in the culture and no man least of all a woman can be greater than the culture.So all she has to do is try and continue till she gets the male child. There was this case of a woman that had 6 girls years back. The seventh was a boy the man came to the hospital and celebrated in a big way. Then she got the 8th child. The man was at the hospital waiting. When he heard it was a girl he drove off with all the drinks and goodies in his car. He left the driver to attend to her. The woman kept calling for the husband , when she heard he left, she gave up her ghost. Must have been the blood pressure or God knows what. It was so sad Then I know another couple who had five girls the sixth was a boy with downs syndrome. The man put the boy in a very good school in Lagos, that was like in the early 90ties. The boy had his sit in the back of the class and would sleep through the lessons. He could`nt write or read but they kept promoting him - money talks. Poor child - what a way to torture a handicapped child. |
