Our testing isn't consistent. Don't forget backlogs of samples waiting to be tested.

Why has testing/cases dropped in Kano? Did they manage and find all the people infected? These are the things we need on their press briefings. We need more local breakdowns of these stats sad

Na wa for Nigeria, na award. Ghana has done over 200k test and less than 7k confirmed cases, that's like 3.67%
, but Nigeria has done less than 60k test and close to 10k cases. Please can we ask Ghana what they are doing because we have over 270 death while Ghana has 35 death. How can they call Nigeria champion of the fight of covid 19 in West Africa. Am so sorry for the integrity of our officials

Exactly! We are more reactive than we are proactive. Buhari and his taxforce are not taking stringent measures to contain the spread. This Covid has really exposed Nigeria on so many levels.

*We don't have a database, the presence of one could have eased and ensured the equal distribution of palliatives

*Our security operatives are seriously outmatched. The spate of robberies that characterised the former lockdown in Lagos is proof that our security operatives are outnumbered. They couldn't even hold a single local govt. Robbers moved from street to street even with the presence of cops at checkpoints

*Nigeria does not have an economic recovery plan.

*Nigeria is NOT the giant of Africa, if the pandemic had the effect it has in the U.S.A on Nigeria, almost half the population of citizens may have contracted the virus.

You hit the nail on the head bro. It's like we just plan without planning anything. I'm shocked with what's happening governments are still heeding to open up public places sad. I'm still shocked eid prayers even happened like that but that's passed. It's like our active cases are going up yet they see nothing wrong!. And now we have to contend with people calling it a scam angry. Corona has so many things to play to its advantage here angry. Nigeria was not in its best state before covid, now covid has come to clash with that same state and we don't know how to go about it. I was just imagining if Nigeria had more entry points sad.

My brother, it's not that they see nothing wrong, the truth is that they do but they won't do anything about it because Nigeria doesn't not have the capacity to contain a lockdown. The economic effects would be a disaster of massive proportions and aside that, we do not have the workforce to enforce another lockdown. Nigeria is not a country, bro. All you know is just a facade. The FG is a body of people with access to the Central Bank, that's all they are. They don't give a shit if we die, as long as they're still rich and the money still has value.

Ah ah. What happened to Kano. They were recording up to 70 - 90 cases some weeks back, now they're recording just 3. So you mean people that were trooping out to get tested weeks ago are no longer interested in being tested all of a sudden and mysterious deaths and sickness just stopped.

And some people still think nothing is fishy grin
They don't know that we starter than them

JESUSisKING1:
The numbers keep mounting, but some of us are yet to behold anyone with this pestilence. That shows that Christ's banner over us is love!
As we keep on enjoying this great grace, let's mend our ways and reconnect back to God by accepting JESUS our lord and personal saviour. Because even if we all survived this pandemic,we all shall eventually die -nobody is created to live forever-and appear before Christ to face judgment

If I nor accept jesus christ wetin I gain?
