The account suspects that Dr Azikiwe was tipped off on the impending coup but did not inform his counterparts but did not provide any evidence or backdrop to his outlandish claims.
These kind of stories were what was used in their propaganda machines that led to the genocide in other regions.

I only wish, we could somehow get to know the real truths about our history irrespective of how dirty and bloody it has been.
