Part A of the company allied matters Act 1990, deals with everything company. Part B deals with everything Business name and Part C deals with anything Incorporated Trustees.
Part A types
Private Company Limited by shares
Public Liability Company
Company with unlimited shares
Company Limited by guarantee.
You can only convert from private to public or unlimited or from public back to private.
For Part B which deals with everything that concerns Business Name.
Business Name divided into two
Sole Proprietorship
Legal Partnership
What falls under Business name
Ventures
Enterprise
Concepts
Services
Or for example Amagunwunye Catering
This is another example of business name.
A.A and Daughters another example of business names
Without LTD or plc
A holding or group company cannot fall under business name. A subsidiary cannot fall under business name. It falls under part A of CAMA.
Part C of CAMA also known as Incorporated Trustees.
Examples of IT are churches, NGO, associations such as Estate Association, Village associations or school associations, mosques, clubs like book clubs and not night clubs and societies or initiatives. The corporate affairs commission does not register cooperative Societies. It is your local government where the cooperative society is going to be located, that deals with that or you can contact an agent to guide you.
