We are talking about federal government petroleum agencies, NNPC

can you kindly point out which of these in the entire country is/are headed by a southerner?

The maritime agencies are Nimasa and NPA,who heads them?

Your response was well articulated and devoid of abusive or condescending language and I appreciate that, if it had been otherwise, I would have just kept my peace.
Yes, you are right. The geographical/ethnic distribution of the heads of those agencies/parastatals is skewed. However, my point was that the post I responded to was embellished with some falsehood. Already, someone responded to this so I don't think I need to go into that.
The post exhibits some cherry picking because it neglects the other positions held by members of other ethnicities.
It has become a norm for people to post some truths and then add lies to it to make it more striking; even mainstream media do this. People can post the truth and the truth alone.
In summary, the original post which I responded to highlighted the Northern occupiers of certain posts, while keeping mum on those occupied by the southerners, thus making it look like there are no Southerners in NNPC top management.

Lies! Lies! Lies! Lies! All Muslim top 20 executives in NNPC?

But sadly, some people will believe it.

At the top of the NNPC company structure(the 5 Autonomous Business Units (ABUs), there are 3 Southerners.

COO, Ventures and Business Development Directorate - Roland Onoriode Ewubare
COO, NNPC Downstream - Lawrencia Nwadiabuwa Ndupu
COO, NNPC Upstream - Adeyemi Adetunji

MDs of some NNPC subsidiaries that are from the South

Catherine Ngozi Iheme (MD NETCO)
Babatunde Bakare (MD NGPTC)
Ada Oyetunde (MD NPSC)
Sir Billy Okoye (MD NNPC Retail)
Christiana U. Onabu (MD NIDAS)
Diepriye Tariah (MD IDSL)
Ezekiel Osarolube (Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company)

Some GGMs of Divisions

Kennie Obateru (GGM Public Affairs)
Adokie Tombomieye (GGM Crude Oil Marketing)
Bola Afolabi (GGM Research & Development Division)
Can you pls explain more, and compare those positions with the 20 in question. I hope your explanation is enough to nullify the above claim.
Otherwise, this allegation of 20 is a big shame and indefensible, if true.

Compare what? The article claimed only 3 posts were allocated to the South. This was a very big lie. I listed 13 senior posts help by southerners.

The article also claims the top 20 posts are all held by Muslims. Another big lie. There are 3 Southerners on the Executive team of 7 (3 out of the 5 Business Units heads).

Lazy Nigerian youths indeed. NNPC has a website that you can easily log into to confirm this information however, all none of those spewing hate and bigotry here will do that. Now, leave NNPC for a minute, NDDC was established develop Niger Delta. Build Roads, schools, hospitals, and develop the area, under GEJ, 133 diffrent contracts was awarded with money fully paid. The contractors did not even step their foot on the site grounds. The people are not rioting, however they are on NL talking rubbish.

Jonathan nepotism was just a tip of the ice when compared to these monumental atrocities been committed by Buhari.

I was telling somebody when I learnt that Fulanis do not eat cows that eating of cows might be where the disunity between Yorubas and Igbos lies.

This is how we will die... In a Nigeria filled with poverty.
Unless we revolt. They will continue to use us as rags to clean their mansions

They will continue to use our labor to feed their kids while ours grow thin and struggle later on to make a living.

It’s sad so many people sense of reasoning is religiously aligned.

If only the people knew they had all the power in their hands, if only the northerners knew religion has turn them to slaves. If only the yorubas knew that religion has destroy the unity they once had and if only the present westerners knew what was taken from them.

We won’t be the same.

We are just a nation full of cowards who are too afraid to die and too lazy to live.

You don't need to insult anyone to make a point. For your information; I have never propagated for segregation in Nigeria but the current antics of Mr bubu will make any rational human being to think otherwise. I was born in the south south (warri), schooled in the north(Kaduna), started work in the east(Abakaliki) and was transferred 3years ago to the west( Lagos/Ogun state). Apologies for the insult....but you're yet to substantiate your statement. You mentioned in your previous post that South West betrayed Ojukwu, and I asked you to provide proofs of the agreement Ojukwu signed with Southwest. Don't divert from the topic, answer this. What you have to understand is that nepotism is systematic. It doesn't just start one day. It accumulates over the years. Let me break it down.

An example.
20 years ago, 100 people get employed by NNPC. 65 percent northerners, 35 percent southerners. 20 years along the line, those from northern extract may have been promoted more rapidly than those from the southern region due to Nepotism and favouritism rather than performance and fairness.

Let's say a vacancy arise for the post of DMD and the policy being that the candidate should be from level 15 and 16. Due to the systematic promotions over the years, only northerners may be eligible as very few southerners may have attained that level. Which means a northerner will get the role eventually either by vote or appointment. This is not just about the north and the south. It is a common practice among organisations of which Nigerian parastatals can be categorised as such.

This will not exist if promotions are based on merit and federal character was obeyed while employing people initially. It is not about Buhari or the current government. It's about the seeds we planted as a nation 20-25 years ago.

@Saharareporters, try and be constructive when publishing your news. Reading this gives one the impression that a toddler wrote it.

The North is getting ready seriously. Every futuristic person knows that Nigeria will eventually break.

Did you know Buhari went into the debt market via DMO, got N391 billion ( $1.03 billion )in May 2020 at a rate of 11.2% between 5- 30 years?

Did you know by that move in May 2020 Buhari has indebted your unborn kids to the tune of $1.29 trillion ($3.4 billion) by the end of 2049?

Did you know from January 1 2020 -May 29 2020, buhari has borrowed a total of N1.2 trillion via the Naira bond market and indebted Nigeria to the tune of N4.05 trillion ~ $11 billion by the end of 2049?

Did you know Nigeria now owes some investor $11 billion ex inflation, devaluation over the next 30 years on bond allotted between January and May 2020 ?
This is just scary
