HATE SPEECH IS NOTHING BUT A WEAPON TO BE USED TO SILENCE CHRISTIANS AND HIDE THE TRUTH. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE HATE SPEECH. PEOPLE SHOULD BE GIVEN FREE SPEECH. WHO IS GOING TO BE THE JUDGE OF MY SPEECH?
THE WORST KINDA SPEECH IS NO-SPEECH. WHEN A GROWN MAN SITS DOWN AND CLOSES HIS MOUTH WHILE HIS EYES SEES EVIL OVERTAKE HIS HOUSEHOLD.
The verse 5:51 translation by Sahih International is:
“O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies …”.
Allies is for war… which is more accurate than friends
in this context.
What does this mean? It means that Muslim believers should not ally with Christians or Jews against other Muslim believers; because they are not loyal to Muslim believers, but only loyal among themselves… Muslim believers are more loyal allies to each other and thus should ally with each other.

thanks for your observation, but
this picture was taken during an inter-religious dialogue with bloggers and social media influencers. Before social distancing guideline was implemented in Nigeria.

Why do you have a problem with the word "friend"? Is a friend not synonymous with an ally?

How can you prove what you just said when it is not written in your koran the way that you said it?

You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah ; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians." That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant.

The above is your demand.
The koran testifies that the Christians are affectionate and non-arrogant, Did you know why? Because Jesus asked his followers to LOVE even their enemies and not hate.

Now, my question to you and Mohammed is, Why attack, kill, and expel people who are affectionate and non-arrogant to you?

This Hadith often gets misquoted. If one were to read it at face value, one would think and believe this is what Muhammed (pbuh) intended all along, that is for the non-Muslims to be exiled out of Arabia without reason. However they were expelled, not because they were non-Muslim, rather it had more to do with the fact of the hostilities which they committed against the Muslim community, and continued to do even after the Prophet’s (pbuh) demise.
And also, The Arabian Peninsula may mean Arabia as a whole (Middle-East) by today’s thinking, but originally the term was the surrounding areas of Makkah and Madinah – Hijaz. This has been stated by many medieval scholars, that the Hadith specifically speaks about the Hijaz region, Makkah and Madinah only.

Peace be unto you my brother

Do you know the Koran and medina more than Muhammad al-Bukhari?? Have you lived in Arabia?
Who are you to draw a conclusion on me like that?
I lived and breathe Arabia, bro. You are no one to lecture me about the Hadith, the koran, or Arabia.

You are either assuming out of your ignorance or exuding the actual Islamic virtue of Taqiyya.

Go to school and learn. I do not accept peace from an ignoramus.

I am not trying to take a shot at you. I lived in Arabia and I have been a member of Islamic culture for years before I pulled out because I migrated.
I am not trying to demonize Muslims. Many Muslims are born into a religion that they and their ancestors have not read about besides what they've been taught.

As students in the walk of life, we all learn and then decide. The art of trying to kill someone for revealing something we didn't know is extremism. It is important that one has the knowledge and not just the practice. I never knew a lot about Islam until my flatmate who is Muslim began talking Islam to me. I grew up in Lagos and I have a positive view of Muslims. It was not until I engaged in a conversation with my flatmate and when I started reading the books given to me by a Mullah that I began to connect the dots.

I have a Hadith and 2 korans. That is the problem that I have. The books are the problem. The second problem is the enforcers of the tenets of the books. Read the koran and the hadith. Everything that i quoted there is from the book. But, it is shocking that people do not want to see those verses of the Koran. Why? It shows you that there is something hidden. When you have a hidden treasure, you dig it out.

Let me ask you, why would a Muslim feel livid or threatened when one posts an excerpt from the Koran?

This is the usual response. Why?
