have you tried changing the whole fuel pump assembly/casing?

still,

take it to a fuel pump tech and ask him to check the fuel pump sender unit (fsu). Normally called 'sim card', it is a chip that controls fuel gauge.
Let him test it with voltmeter. If it is bad, he should change it with the exact one with its number, cos the chip comes with a code.


If after all these and it continues.... Then u can looks towards the 'clock'.

Provided there is no disconnection (open) or breach (short) in the wiring harness (two cables) between the instrument cluster and the fuel level sensor unit (housing the fuel gauge sensor), the fuel gauge (your “clock”) is controlled by the fuel gauge sensor (what mejai above refers to as the “sim card”). What your rewire probably checked was the functionality of the pump and not the integrity of the sensor. I’d suggest you change the fuel sensor unit or the fuel pump unit altogether.

Btw, you never mentioned if the check engine light was on or not. Run a scan.

That is his limitation.
Ask him to get to this shinny part. That's the FSU. He should take it to those selling it to test.

If you/he can't, then change the whole fuel pump casing.
NB: just to save you some cash and be sure b4 buying a whole dashboard cluster.

Have run a scan everything is working perfectly just the fuel clock will not move. When off the engine is will just make some shaking move.
