Look, these rape stories are just easier to digest when murder is not involved (for the man or woman).

I think about the actions that led to that lady's murder and ask some pertinent questions thus...
- Did the rapists already have intentions to kill her prior? If not,
- Did they do it because she threatened to expose them?
- Or did she die defending her pride as a woman?

I believe people should learn to control their emotions, especially women in situations like rape, it might be crucial to save their life... And we can always address the issue of rape later.

This may sound like blaming the victim or trivializing rape. But, when there's a chance to walk away with life in a rape situation, women should always opt for it. Better to fight your rape case while still alive.

I recall my girl then, did recount the story of how she was almost raped as a teenager, by a big-build uniform man. Seeing clearly that he had already overpowered her, she just laid lifeless and stopped struggling in order to avoid serious injuries - somehow, this made the man uninterested and he let her go. We still talk about it and it could've ended fatally, so I commend her for her rational thinking. Dying sure feels worse than being raped (no pun intended).

You don't know about rape.

Even if the rapist will transmit AIDS or other deadly STD/STI to the victims she should fold her hand and look.

I wish i can type long i would have tell you my first hand experience with a rapist. God used me and my friend to rescue the girl around a decade .

Rapist are deadlier than armed robber together with higher assassin at times.

I hope you will keep your emotions in check and make a rational decision not to fight if a gay guy tries raping your anus after overpowering you.

AIDS is not a death sentence. Now, I really doubt those guys wanted to kill her, but one thing led to another.
The rapist is to be condemned. Just that, in the heat of the moment, it will pay the girl better to focus on getting out of there alive than on any other thing. With evidence, she could gather support and go after the rapist.

If you're held at gunpoint by armed men... "Money or your life," I hope you will choose to react irrationally.

Stupid analogy.
Don't go around comparing “robbery” to rape.

Every rapist is a killer.

Not.
Know this, there could be no plea for self defense and a rape victim could even be charged for murder if she kills a rapist whose harm was only limited to forcible intercourse.
All rapists are not killers. Let's not let emotions cloud our judgments.

Look, both carry a very real threat to life, so yes they're comparable.

I was actually tempted to write something about this a while back but i know that so many people would misunderstand d message.

Nigerian ladies have to learn more about survival techniques, when u r in a rape situation survival should be the priority, a rapist is already angry, agitated and adrenaline fueled further aggravating his anger is not advisable.

From accounts of rape victims which i av watched, its best to try to and calm down and let the rapist feel like he is in control, this buys time and makes him let his guard down a bit. The lady can then take advantage of this to try and get away.

However, if she is unable to get away its best to allow him be done and then when he is settled sweet talk him into letting you go. This approach is often unexpected and this can build a kind a trust with rapist. It would also make him feel like she enjoyed it and would be less likely to report him or take any actions against him.

The moral of all this is dat aggression is not the answer when dealing with a rapist. It can be very risky, @ op wat ur girl did was really smart.

Which is more important? Being alive or being believed? BTW, why wouldn't she believed?

Thats the point of sweet talking him. Its difficult but possible, trying to gain his trust and making him feel that what he did wasnt so bad so he doesn't feel the need to kill.

Honestly, aside serial killers, I don't think rapists have the intention of killing their victims.. and that's why the the girl has a role to play.

Look, what's wrong with Uwa's sympathizers is that they've put all their voices and focus on her rape, and not nearly enough has been said about her murder!
