MummyHalo:
I want to rant!
We've been TTC since we got married in Oct 2018. We used to live apart until January this year when I joined DH so I started actively seeing a gynae in my new location.
There is this colleague of DH who is like our family friend. They got married about 5months after us and had a son in January this year.
Since I relocated, they have been trying to talk me into getting herbs from someone whom according to them treated the wife of PID before they got married. I have tried to explain to them that I am working with a gynae and we are actually progressing but they have refused to understand. I even stopped going to their place (using corona virus as an excuse) because the wife would always bring the issue up. The wife has visited twice recently and still brought up the same issue. According to her, I am the one delaying myself cos if I had listened to her since January and requested for the herbs, I would have been pregnant by now. I still tried explaining the progress I have made with my doctor and also told her I wouldn't want to leave the treatment halfway and start all over with another treatment.
Just this afternoon, the husband came to my house and said he needed to talk to me and brought up the same issue, telling me how my husband or in-laws might soon start disturbing me. I reiterated what I told the wife and told him the timeframe that my doc and I were looking at. He then said"okay", that he was gonna comeback when the timeframe elapses. He has also been trying to make my husband see reasons with them.

I honestly do not know how to handle this issue as I wouldn't want to come across as ungrateful. I know they care and wish me well.
I also think they might be feeling awkward since they have a child and I don't but the truth is that I am honestly happy for them. I love their son as I would my nieces or nephews. I understand that they are trying to help but I do not like the way they are going about it.
There is nobody in this world that wants this child for me more than I do.

... In my own opinion sis, combining herbal remedy will not interrupt orthodox treatment. It's even good if you can get trusted people that can do herbs. You see herbs flushes/ unblock any debris that may be interfering with conception. You can give it a trial. I've tried herbal remedy b4 & it works for me(unblock tubes) which laparoscopy couldn't. I was told after a laparoscopy surgery that ivf is my only option that they couldn't unblock the tubes but to God be the glory after using series of herbs, serrapeptase, Castor oil massage, it's unblocked.
You can weigh d options & try somewhere. God bless ur womb.
This is the lady you sent serrapeptase to in Kwara State. I guess you still remember me. Stay fruitful

Congratulations on your bfp, may you carry to term IJN, please which hospital did you do your flushing in PH, I want to do tubal flushing too.
March af he gave me same drugs but same thing af still came.
April before going to see him I prayed for God to lead him and while praying the holy spirit spoke to be about tubal flushing.Lo and behold I went to see him and he mentioned it.I went for the procedure on day 10 and it was successful. He still gave me same drugs but decided to add trigger shot once there's a large follicle.
On day day 12 I went in for tracking and the follicles were below 12mm.It seemed so discouraging.Day 14 it was only 13mm,day 17 it was about 16mm.I was supposed to go in on day 20 for a scan and possiblly trigger shot but because of the lock down in pH I couldn't make it.I was even tempted to buy the shot and store then get a nurse around my estate to administer. My discussion with hubby we just decided to bed every other day.
On day 18 I felt ovulation cramps and told hubby but we couldn't even bd cos he had to go to work that evening.I just consoled my self with the fact we bd the night before.
Day 19 when he came in from work in the morning,we bd and continued every other day.
I had been having light headache, sore boobs, fever and af was late so I decided to test and saw two thick lines staring at me.Our joys have known no bonds because in 3 years plus I have never seen a second line.
Next week is our fourth year anniversary and God smiled on us.
Spiritually we have been giving to the orphanage every Christmas for two years now,I participated in Hannah's heart recently concluded 10 days prayers where I learnt so much about faith and was always declaring faith filled words everyday while anointing my tummy.I bought the Hannah's heart devotional I use to pray in the mornings too.
In all God is faithful,He has promised and can never fail.He didn't fail me and I know that this blessing will go round to every mama here.

MummyHalo you will certainly see all these advisers of the century but if I were you and have little cash to throw about I will give them the money to help collect the herbs, am not using it but just to shut them up and for them to stay off my matter cos this kind of their constant talk can really get to someone. Before you know it now DH will start seeing reasons for you to take the herbs when you are still working with your gynaecologist. By the time you collect the herbs and tell them you have used it they will allow you rest.

Vitex and B6 lengthen my cycle to 38 days ovumine hyperstimulated my ovaries intact eh I am just tired
Did you try vitex alone? B6 is known to lengthen cycle but the function of vitex is to balance hormones. M2-Tone is another good one for hormones. You may take with BComplex not B6 pls. Did you try Fertilaid? You can use it alone too. Try any for at least 3 months and check if it’ll regulate your cycle and make you ovulate

It’s never good to combine the too ma. It’s bad particularly for the liver and kidney. Only the living can ttc. She can take her time to finish one first. At least she’ll understand what their challenges are if any and then know how to proceed. I started with herbs and though I got little relief, it didn’t actually work. I had to go orthodox which also had its own limits before I finally went into supplements that also did the part. But then, nothing more till God did the miracle one day and I missed my period like film

When you quote a comment make sure to start typing after the end of the quote "[/quote]" if not it messes up your post and it's a bit difficult to read.

Fairhaven changed the packaging of thier products so yes it's the same

My dear, I went through your previous posts and I'd be sincere with you.
Has your husband repeated an SFA after the last one of 13M? If he doesn't have a count of a minimum of 20M with good mortility and at least 50% active then he might not be able to impregnate you.
If your HSG was good (bilateral tubal potency) and the hormonal profile result I saw (although there isn't a range but it doesn't seem bad) then all you need is pregnacare conception while your husband needs manix+vit E to increase his sperm count. Unless you are above 35 then I'd recommend myo-inositol or ovaboost

Our major problem was male issue. Count was below 1m as at the time we started treatment. There was also active infection, staph. Before I was finally diagnosed with one blocked tube after lap and dye even when my hsg over a year before then said both tubes were patent with free spillage and second about 6months prior said both were free but suspected spasm on one of them. I finally decided to treat infection fully and the next hospital said I have PID. We paid 60k for the treatment and it ran about 2 months with repeat tests in between. We were later certified free of any infection but I noticed the fertility drug he was giving me wasn’t doing much so we stopped going. It was also just before the treatment I got the enzymes so I combined them with his treatment for infection after I read it helps antibiotics works better without issue. Then I started castor oil massage too. I’ve never been a drug person so the only supplements I managed to take was M2-Tone, then vitamins at some point. I tried Fertilaid too but only managed to finish two months supply and had to give out the last bottle because I could not keep up with it. I never had issue with ovulation even after doctor tried induction, I ovulate normally and have clockwork cycle between 27days and 30days and usually experience ovulation pains. So once I confirmed my tubes cleared, I stopped the enzymes though dh continued his supplements until early last year when we could not keep up with the expenses anymore so we decided to take a break.

Normally during IUI, a trigger shot is given which in itself is hcg. The effect lasts till after few days which is why hospitals will tell you not to test till at least 10dpo. The essence of the progesterone is to increase the hcg in the system and if pregnancy occurs the level keeps rising to be detected in urine and blood. But if no pregnancy, it can’t go high enough to be detected and you’ll be advised to discontinue to enable af return as in some cases it doesn’t return if you’re still on progesterone. Though she said it was just this last one she supplemented so I believe there might be issue of implementation or sustenance and the IVF they’re suggesting might not offer her much. So it’s better she see another good fertility specialist that will run a thorough check for issues on chemical pregnancy. Or better still stop all drugs and give her body few months for recovery

I discarded because it was close to expiry date and was just a big bottle. Since I opened it over months I didn’t think it wise giving it out
