It was when I tried modelling one time
that I understood that male sexual
harassment is a thing.
Na just say men no dey talk. I mean,
shame no go gree dem say another man
sexually harass dem. Look at this trending
Solomon issue on Twitter, all the males
recounting made sure to mention they
could have beaten him up but blah blah.
Dem no wan appear weak or victiminized.
One time I visited this guy, some guy who
just came into the country. He now
reached out and twisted my nipple at
random. I just burst out laughing like a
mad man. I was too amused to even
remember to be offended and disgusted. I
just found it amusing. Like, See this soft
soft guy o.

The guy was looking at me and I was
laughing and looking at him like, Nigga are
you alright ? And no, I didn't hit him or
anything. I just played it cool and sat
down. I later left and didn't reply his
messages again.
The truth is, this consent thing, even
women shouting about consent don't
understand it. Because the mentality of
women, Naija women, is that men should
be grateful to be offered sex. That a man
always wants it. That if you "seduce"
them, they will give in.
Most of what people call "bottom power"
or "feminine wiles" is actually harassment.
You can't say you understand consent and
think it is okay to force your body on
someone and call it "seduction".
You are shouting teach your sons this,
teach your sons that. But what are you
teaching your girls?

Consent is a two way street. Unless you
are already sexually involved with
someone, you have to understand that
you are not entitled to their bodies. No
matter how "hot" you are. No matter how
"irresistible" you think your yansh is. Guys
won't say it, their male pride won't even let
it register to their brain that they were
sexually harassed, but it is what it is.
Throwing your body in someone's face
isn't right no matter the gender. If a male
friend visits you then takes off his shirt
and start doing some belly dance or
moves close to you and just casually
begins to rub his body against yours, even
if you like him I am sure you would findit
creepy and intrusive as f. You would think
there are better and more polite ways to
come on to someone. You would feel
harassed and even afraid.

So turn the tables, why would it be okay
for women to do that to men? Why is it
called seduction when women do it and
harassment when men do?

It should be equal. Because women don't
have the muscle to enforce their will
doesn't make them any less abusers.
And please before you comment,
understand that I reserve the right to
refuse to entertain comments that derail
off the subject matter and go into gender
bashing.

there's a little misconception about this write up, seduction is totally different from sexual harassment, you can be harassed as a lady or a man, and can also be seduced as a man or woman, while harassment deals with physical contact like you mentioned the guy touching your nipples without consent, seduction is usually not physical rather, the person who seduces displays some sexual orgy or behavior in other to attract the opposite sex attention just like the men complaining of a lady's indecent dressing, or revealing of one or two sexually attractive part of the body just to attract you into having a sexual relationship with him or her.

I understand but people should know that in seduction, the prey have to give in to the predator for something to happen while in sexual harassment, the predator just attacks it's prey without consent.
