According to IgbereTV reports, members of the House of Representatives from Abia, on Saturday paid a solidarity visit to the former Governor of Abia State and senator representing Abia North senatorial district, Dr Orji Kalu, following his release from Kuje prison.

The report disclosed that the lawmakers were hosted at Kalu's Aso Villa home as he thanked them for their support and solidarity during his incarceration.

In attendance at the meeting was the Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Rep. Nkiru Onyejeocha, who led the visit, others were Rep. Darlynton Nwokocha, Rep. Sam Onuigbo and Rep. Benjamin Kalu, spokesperson of the House and member representing Bende Federal Constituency.
