It was having power issues, sometimes the phone won't come on. so I guess the 'engineer' reworked the the power and that had a negative effect on the powerbank circuit board. Sometimes the powerbank gets so hot when she is charging her phone with it.

It was a gradual process, takes multiple presses to come on, now doesn't come on again..the battery still good, but the powerbank's board is gone
