fergie001:Sirajo has spent almost 8 months as the chairman of the tribunal. Is there extension after 180 days? The tribunal was inaugurated last year and diri was declared governor this year and same tribunal was already sitting in diri vs lyon case. Does it mean the tribunal was officially inaugurated after diri was declared winner in February 13? What happened to its previous sittings last year? |

The court is on track in upholding INECs decision. Can't imagine how some group of persons will for a political party just for financial gain. |
Re: Court Affirms Deregistration Of 74 Parties By INEC by fergie001: 6:50pm On Jun 11, 2020 |
AAA593:Nope, the tribunal was CONSTITUTED last year. It will be subject to heavy litigations. This SC of technicality will do justice to it. The tribunal shouldn't exceed 180 days. Now this same tribunal has even usurped the time frame for the Appeal Court. I believe the Court of Appeal should have recalled this panel and inaugurated another. As the case is...It is statute-barred by virtue of the time of its inauguration. ejimatic |
