Contrary to what has been on Nigerian news sphere, Mr Raymond Igbalodely a.k.a Hushpupi wasn't Arrested by Interpol or FBI for Fraud.

Unlike Nigeria's glorified vigilante known as EFCC, Interpol or FBI keeps meticulous records of their wanted people and the records are open to the public.

Mr Raymond aka Hushpupi was never in the two databases. A written inquiry to the two agencies says that there is no one arrested or wanted with that name for fraud.

It is true that Hushpupi hasn't been online lately. True. Even if he has issues with the law, it might be with the UAE authorities. Not Interpol or FBI as speculated. Fact.

Investigative journalism is almost nonexistent in Nigeria. Sad

Access to information (or Freedom of Information (FOI)) is a global right that enables journalists to have access to any information from FBI, Police, or Interpol.

If he is arrested for any crime...even for a speeding ticket, it's a win for humanity. However, we don't know that for sure. No arrest pictures or mugshots have been shared.

Any western law enforcement agency that scores the arrest of a criminal that has anything to do with the amount of money speculated will have released the mugshot of the criminal.

Nigerians deserve quality information and not the regular unverified news. We must change the narrative.

He went on purda with his thieving goons for more wins in their shameful enterprise.

Or he went to inspect a room to cell at the FBI office as an international real estate mogul.

You do realise that those names published as Wanted on those websites are people whom they have been unable to apprehend and are still being looked for... All we can really do is speculate

So why did Fox news carry it?

Why is your heart beating so fast?

A clear conscience fears nothing.

Do you know where he is or you just concluded this because his name, according to you, was not in the list of wanted persons FBI shared with you? So if someone is caught committing a crime, FBI will first check if the person's name is on their list of wanted persons before arresting the person? And if it's not, they'll let the person go? Do you even know anything about the FBI?

I'm not surprised though.
