If the roles were reversed and Wike was in APC and Amaechi in PDP,

Anyway the average rivers man is a greedy being.

These people do not want to subject themselves to the leadership of Amaechi under the guise that Amaechi wants to make it a one man party.

There is not a single state in Nigeria that this doesn't happen.

Even the Rivers PDP too is a one man party.

Wike runs rivers PDP like his kingdom.

All LGA chairmen, Senators, Assembly members, Party excos were all handpicked by Wike.

Yet these ungrateful elements in the Rivers state APC have gotten for themselves a dubious excuse to bite the finger that fed them!



Amaechi will prevail, and time will only tell.

I only wish that he could kuku leave this party for Magnus to do whatever he wants and let's see him win the Governorship and how many legislative seats he can squeeze out of Nyesom Wike.

TInubu's rise to the presidency would depend on how much he's able to render APC's mighty men useless.

APC is just one party in Nigeria. Becoming APC presidential candidate doesn't mean he will win the votes of Nigerians in the general elections. Infact the biggest mistake APC would make that would give PDP an easy ride at the general election is to field Tinubu as candidate. All PDP would need to do is to field a popular northern candidate who would largely win the votes of the north (most northerners who are politically suave would never vote a yoruba against their kinsman, coupled with the fact that they would prefer power to remain within the north). Of course, the south east and south south would naturally give their votes to PDP. The game would be PDP's to lose if Tinubu is fielded, trust me.

Amaechi is not sellable in the east and south south (there is still the GEJ betrayal sentiment issue, and he is perceived to be a northern apologist), this is a huge setback because those are the regions he is suppose to bring to the bank in an Amaechi/El rufai ticket, just as El rufai will be expected to bring the north to the bank in that combo, while the south west becomes the main battle ground with whoever is their opposition..
