DSS Bows To Pressure Gives Access to Ambrose Nwaogwugwu

The Department of State Services – DSS has finally granted access to Ambrose Nwaogwugwu the imolite who was arrested on the instance of the Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State following a Facebook post where he referred to the governor as “Supreme Court Governor”.
e-nigeria! gathered that since his arrest on April 28, 2020, the DSS has refused access to him until his arraignment at Owerri Magistrate Court on June 5, 2020.
Nwaogwugwu was arraigned on a 7 count charge bordering on Cyber-stalking, defamation of character among others...

Although Nwaogwugwu reportedly sued the security agency, demanding N50 million compensation in a suit filed at the Federal High Court, Owerri Division, by his team of lawyers led by Chief Mike Ahamba (SAN).

He is also seeking among other prayers a declaration that his continued detention from May 28, 2020 till date is unlawful, wrongful, unconstitutional and a flagrant breach of his fundamental rights as guaranteed by the constitution of Nigeria.

Speaking recent development, Ahamba disclosed that during his last visit the DSS probably bowing to pressure from all corners granted him and his team unfettered access to Nwaogwugwu, where sundry issues bordering on Imo politics and others were discussed.

If you say Wike has not played a part in Amaechi travails, then I have to give up on our discussion. No relevant case instituted in Rivers by Amaechis faction has ever been won in any court in Rivers State. Wike controls Rivers judiciary and have used them to ensure APC remains in quagmire.

Wike, is the utmost beneficiary of all the grumblings and infighting in Rivers APC. If APC were united, Wike would have been history since May 29 2019. Wike saw an opportunity and capitalized on it. He is not the origin of Rivers APC crisis but, he sided Abe as every normal politician would and is reaping the most.

Ask yourself what Wike stands to lose if Amaechis faction gains control of Rivers APC, as against Abe's faction.

This was all down to Amaechi. Amaechi did this singlehandedly.

Having such modest success for APC in the South South is actually a very big feat.
It's like a situation of PDP having such electoral success in a state like Kaduna or Katsina.

Amaechi did very well for APC in Rivers. Magnus Abe beat Olaka Nwogu to became a senator because of Amaechi. Singlehandedly too.

If the roles were reversed and Wike was in APC and Amaechi in PDP,
Wike could never achieve that feat under a very much hated and maligned APC in the South South region.
(This is for those who like to overrate Wike simply because Patience Jonathan and PDP gave him a platform.)

Back to the issue;

Then we had a gang of betrayers and backstabbers led by Magnus Abe.
Even the present guy who was just declared by the court Igo Aguma was a nobody when Amaechi hand picked him into the House of reps.

Today these people feel that they have grown up and made their balls and started fighting Amaechi.
Anyway the average rivers man is a greedy being.

These people do not want to subject themselves to the leadership of Amaechi under the guise that Amaechi wants to make it a one man party.

There is not a single state in Nigeria that this doesn't happen.

Even the Rivers PDP too is a one man party.

Wike runs rivers PDP like his kingdom.

All LGA chairmen, Senators, Assembly members, Party excos were all handpicked by Wike.

Yet these ungrateful elements in the Rivers state APC have gotten for themselves a dubious excuse to bite the finger that fed them!

Amaechi will prevail, and time will only tell.

I only wish that he could kuku leave this party for Magnus to do whatever he wants and let's see him win the Governorship and how many legislative seats he can squeeze out of Nyesom Wike.

But do you expect Oshiomole to support Amaechi that ganged up against him? Would you have done differently if someone has ganged up against you? It is only a fool that will expect the people he has worked against to wrok for him when needed

Amaechi is a no match to Wike. You convert Senators elected under PDP when Wike was your campaign manager because you jumped to APC, that is decamping victory not electoral victory. You lost the senatorial posts at the ballot booth, only for you to use the courts to technically defeat PDP senators. So, that is your definition of electoral value? I do not hold brief for Wike cos Amaechi beget Wike and Wike beget Amaechi. They are a bad mixture of unfortunacy the state has been bedeviled with since 2007, all thanks to their benefactor - Peter Odili.
