How come our present leadership are famous for certificate forgery.

The disqualification of Governor Obaseki of Edo state who was a former candidate of APC with forged NYSC certificate shows some individuals were aware and involved but went ahead to crown him governor.

How long will this continue? Why can't APC search for qualified candidates instead of making up false results to make the unqualified qualified? Is this how they intend to fight corruption??


According to the APC screening committee, the governor was unfit to qualify on the grounds that his Higher School Certificate (HSC) was “defective.”

The committee chairman, Prof. Jonathan Ayuba said they could also not ascertain the authenticity of Obaseki’s National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate.

According to the chairman, the name on the governor’s NYSC discharge certificate bears ‘Obasek’ instead of ‘Obaseki’
