Ninety-six coronavirus patients undergoing treatment in Oyo State have been discharged after testing negative twice for the virus.

The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, made this known in a series of tweets on Saturday.

According to the governor, a total of 271 patients have recovered in the state.

He also confirmed that 35 more persons tested positive for the virus in the past 24 hours.

He said, “95 confirmed COVID-19 cases have received their second negative test results and have been discharged. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to 271.

“Also, the COVID-19 confirmation tests for thirty-five suspected cases came back positive. The cases are from Ido (seven), Ibadan SW (five), Ibadan North (five), Ibadan NW (five) Oluyole (three), Ibadan NE (three), Ibadan SE (three), Egbeda (three) and Ogbomosho North (one) Local Government Areas.

“So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State today is 469.”

what I don't understand is how the number is increasing without hope of climax

I am using this medium to pray for the Oyo State Ex-Governor Abiola Ajimobi of the APC who has been rumoured to have been admitted to an Intensive Care Unit in one of the hospitals in Lagos, God Almighty will heal him and free him of purported Coronavirus.
God will heal other Coronavirus victims in Nigeria and worldwide.

Good. This means over half of the people that went to the isolation center have been discharged and acquitted.

Meanwhile those of you saying Covid19 is not in Nigeria, it is only a matter of time before it gets to you, just pray that by the time it does your immune system will be up to the task and you will not take / be given drugs that will worsen it.

For us youth, Covid19 is not something to be feared as over 90% of us that will contract it will not need to visit isolation center to be treated.

Stay safe and pray for God to protect the elderly around us.
