Hello Everyone,

Please can someone kindly advice me on how to go through the issue of title pending.
An agent bought a car for me from copart with title pending since March this year, uptil now there's no authentic information on where the car is, thought I checked it(using VIN no) on the Sallaum website is still indicating Received(Pending) instead of Received(Delivered). Thank you so much.

Was the vehicle purchased from NC, NY or where?
Was Title Pending indicated prior to purchase?

The Car was bought at NC(Mocksville). Also, the Title Pending was indicated before we bought the car.

You bought it willingly with the caveat so nothing can be done until the Title is ready; usually it takes about 30-45 days for it to be ready whenever stated (some of us fought Copart tirelessly to get Title Pending added so whomever is buying is aware). Copart didn't use to state it before. IAA still doesn't indicate but experienced buyer(s) knows.

Covid-19 must have been the cause of the prolonged delay as DMV and other agencies involved in Title matters were on lockdown as well (or, I hope not, the vehicle and title forgotten by all involved) except you. Contact the yard to be sure of this.

Copart mailed the Title to address (MD) 5th June.

Thank you so much DelTel for your assistance, I also had the same issue with COPART as regards title pending. I use an agent. Got his number from a friend to assist me with getting a car, Lexus RX 350 2008. Please how can you be of assistance.
