North Will Not Cede Power To South In 2023 — AYCF by Nobody: 6:33pm On Jun 16, 2020
Accuses APC chieftains in the S/East of Abandoning Kalu
Thank Northern Elders for support during Kalu’s Travails

The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, AYCF, has reiterated that the North still wanted the presidency in 2023 and would not cede power to the South.
President of the AYCF, Shettima Yerima, said in an interview on Tuesday that it irritated the entire North for some southern politicians to think Northerners will leave power for them in 2023.
“How can you think we will cede power to the South in 2023? The North still wants the presidency. The south is in charge of the economy and they have everything, so why would they want to take away the only thing we have.
What would you call that? Even if we are ceding power to the south in 2023, we should be considering people like Orji Uzor Kalu. He is someone the north trusts and the Northern elders will give him their full support. Most Nigerians don’t know that Kalu’s incarceration emanated from conspiracy and betrayal from his own party, the APC,” he said.
Yerima accused Ohanaeze and some chieftains of the All Progressives Congress, APC, of conspiracy during the travails of Senator Kalu Orji Kalu and thanked the Northern elders for standing behind the former Governor of Abia state and Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu during his six months incarceration at Kuje custodial centre.

He accused the leaders of All Progressives Congress (APC) from the south of conspiring against Kalu because of 2023 presidential ambitions and slammed the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo and its leadership for keeping silent during the entire period of Kalu’s travails
He cautioned the North over the dangers of abandoning the former Governor in custody, adding that Northern elders must be commended for “standing firm for Kalu” who he referred to as their “long time ally, brother and friend.”
“We specifically thank Chairman of Northern Elders Forum, Prof. Ango Abdullahi, for proving critics wrong on the North’s stand on Kalu,” he said.
Yerima also thanked the Supreme Court and Justice Muhammad Liman of the Federal High Court for standing on the path of justice.
“It is very important to appreciate the justices of the supreme court and Justice Liman of the Federal High Court for their moral and professional courage to uphold justice. Kalu’s release is a victory for decency, for patriotism and respect for the rule of law. They once again proved that the Judiciary is the survival of democracy.
“However, we question the usefulness of Ohanaeze Ndigbo to the Igbo elite. It is a disappointment that Ohanaeze under the leadership of Nwodo specifically did nothing to support their own, yet they want a Nigerian president of Igbo extraction.”
“Please where will this president come from? the sky? Kalu is one of their biggest assets but they all kept quiet. It’s only the Ohanaeze youths that spoke strongly for Kalu but Nwodo and his members shied away from the real leadership they ought to render. Who knows if they were also paid to betray their own? It’s very shameful of them”.
“It irritates the entire North for some southern politicians to think they will leave power for them (South) come 2023. How can you think we will cede power to the South in 2023?” He queried the journalists. “The North still wants the presidency.

The south is in charge of the economy and they have everything, so why would they want to take away the only thing we have. What would you call that? Even if we are ceding power to the south in 2023, we should be considering people like Orji Uzor Kalu. He is someone the north trusts and the Northern elders will give him their full support. Most Nigerians don’t know that Kalu’s incarceration emanated from conspiracy and betrayal from his own party, the APC.

“Some leaders of the party from the south who have become desperate about 2023 presidency wanted to kick Kalu out of the race through the machiavellian way. They don’t like open competition. I was surprised they have no love. They are full of hatred and they want to be President. The amount of hatred in that party is so much. What’s exactly Kalu’s offense? 2023? Look at what is also happening in Edo state. It’s a pity”
“I remember when Kalu as a governor initiated the idea of publishing the state accounts on the print media. That showed a lot. I think the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, should have a rethink on Kalu’s case. The resources they have wasted on pursuing the case for the past 13 years. Is it worth it?
“My advice is that they should sheathe their swords and let Kalu be. They should not allow some desperate politicians to dictate to them what they should do,” he said.

The real meaning of AYCF is “Atiku youth consultative forum”. The sole aim of the forum is to get Atiku Abubakar elected as president.

It is an irrelevant body that gets media patronage because of the funding provided by Atiku. Power will return to the south in 2023 and there is nothing rogues like Atiku can do about it.

So, Atiku is now using his money to campaign for Kalu to be president?

Which type of slow people are these?

I saw this coming, mark my word kalu is the next president of Nigeria.....the north will choose him just to disorganize Biafra agitation, after his first tenure as a president they will kick him out, just like goodluck Jonathan they will accuse him of incompetence, and he will be disgraced out of office, by then any Igbo man that speaks of Biafra they will tell the person that an Igbo person was once the president but could not perform.

The real meaning of AYCF is “Atiku youth consultative forum”. The sole aim of the forum is to get Atiku Abubakar elected as president.

The loud mouth called Shettima is a mere lackey who is inconsequential in Nigeria’s power game. He was the one who issued the unfortunate ultimatum to Igbos living in the north to leave the region by October 1st, 2017. The Kalu Presidency that he’s flying as a second option is just to deceive the south east as usual. It is a divide and rule tactics from the Atiku camp to keep the south east votes.

Anyway, the forum is an irrelevant group that gets media patronage because of the funding provided by Atiku. Power will return to the south in 2023 and there is nothing rogues like Atiku can do about it.

Kindly list those good works here cos all we see around are works of destabilizing agents, incompetents, nepotism, bastardised economy, gigantum foreign debts, political confusion and insecurity.

By 2023 there won't be a Nigeria any longer.

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to read in between the lines. The group is campaigning for a northerner and not Kalu. He threw Kalu’s name in as a possible second choice for president just to distract and confuse very slow people like you and divide the south.

Use your head bro, Shettima is not in any position to decide who rules Nigeria. His intention is simply to divide the south and nothing else.

And Yerima may be making his own move to cash out 2023 through Kalu.

Do they even need to divide the south that is as divided as the old soviet union? If the north is excluded from a meeting and only southerners are asked to choose a single candidate, the meeting will end in a police station as the fights can't be controlled.

That is the ONLY solution that'll save the country from eventual disintegration.

And the better we do it peacefully via restructuring cos it's glaring the a break-up cannot be avoided at the long-run.

Please people should remove sniper from a certain Chicago drug Baron, so we don't have a sucide case again. Some people are in Sifia pains.

If the greed of South West will not allow power to return to south south or south east, then north is a goal.

I laugh at people championing Tinubu presidency, every indices and calculation is against him.

I have always asked, if APC gives Tinubu a Muslim south ticket, who will be his vice? A christian from the north? Or will he run a Muslim Muslim ticket?

Nobody has been able to answer that question till date.

If anybody is smart will see that the north is more comfortable with OUK than Tinubu.
OUK is technically their "son".

There's even a rumor that OUK is IBB's son, reason why all through his tenure as a governor, his father never identified with him as he was selling hangar in Aba.

Tinubu is in a political dilemma. His best option was Osibanjo who is a Christian and they will easily get a northern vice but he threw Osibanjo under the tyres.

2023 is really an interesting year.

Still, there is still a need to ensure south east votes are kept intact. That is what Atiku’s people are doing. They will Insist power must remain in the north while making sure that the south east is kept happy enough to still vote massively for Atiku again in 2023. Politics.
