Why not just scrap the cutoffs and allow anyone to be admitted into any university.

Everyone in their right mind knows that the average southern JAMB candidate tends to fare better than their northern contemporary.

Collective stupidity on display.

This is total rubbish. During my days, forget entering a tertiary institution if you score below 200 in jamb. I don tire for naija education sef. Na those people with 120 score go first gain admission before person with 260.

Would my daughter be considered? She scored 167 in jamb for NDA whose cutoff mark is 210. Any hope for her because the score is below the school cutoff mark?

Is it still same jamb exam for university admission and maximum score is supposed to be 400? If it's same, how can 160 be passmark? Sounds crazy, which means some people may get into medical school with like 170 depending on state of origin. shocked undecided

Spit, Nigeria education continues to wake. Jamb 160 cut off. I wrote my first jamb when I was in ss2 and was crying when I saw 187 SD my score. That means I won't be able to write post jamb. That was when education standard still good in Nigeria. I thought it will be increasing, but I am dissapointed. Spot
