There's a tiny cable like that used to connect the home theatre direct to the TV. Optical cable I think, you connect the TV direct to the home theatre.

I know we use the HDMI for the decoder to the TV.
Then optical cable for home theatre to the TV (both are LG products)

Everything played on the TV , sounds through the home theatre and also the TV speaker once the function is on optical.

I remember because I was the one that looked for that tiny cable at alaba.

No AV out at all, all we have is AV in ports and component ports.

I just couldn't send sound out of the TV. I.E anything I am playing using the TV usb port or antenna or HDMI o,the sound would come out of the TV speakers. Now for HDMI with laptop I do change settings and connect laptop to theatre directly either via Bluetooth or portable. For decoder I use the AV cords as in video to TV and sound to theatre. I rarely use dvd player.

No offence intended, but do you know of 2-to-1 auxiliary cord?
Two parts goes to the home theatre, and the '1' goes into the TV, the part meant for earphones.
The cord itself is barely 200n. Those wheelbarrow guys or ibo guys selling electronics will have it. Perhaps you can try it, cos I play sound via home theatre using hdmi on an old school lg tv
