Going by the news yesterday, the APC is definitely not in disarray.

Oshiomole stepped aside in compliance with a court order. The party appointed Ajimobi as acting chairman in line with the party's constitution and going by the natural order of succession.

Ajimobi is currently ill and indisposed so when the party NWC met yesterday, they appointed Hilliard Eta to act instead of Ajimobi who is currently indisposed. Mr. Hilliard Eta is thus the party's acting chairman at the moment.

Giadom claims he was appointed acting chairman by the courts via a judgement secured in March. Events have since overtaken the circumstances that led to that judgement. Giadom hmself is no longer the deputy secretary of the APC since he resigned his appointment to contest deputy governorship of Cross River state. His resignation was ratified by the NWC at their meeting yesterday so he is no longer in the running for chairmanship. He is a pretender and a spoiler at best.

The so-called leadership crisis in the APC only exists on the pages of newspapers, social media and in the minds of mischief makers.

No one is dragging the title of "national Chairman of APC appointed by court order" with Giadom. He should continue to answer it since he likes it so much. Infact he should add it to his list of titles.

He needs to have the entire NWC to make any pronouncements that makes any effect.

Can Giadom mention which member of the APC NWC he is running his secretariat with?

Elections held in March 2019. This is June 2020. If his position was vacant, someone else would have long occupied it. He was duly reinstated.

The position was left vacant in the spirit of reconciliation.

There's no contempt of court here. After the court gave the ruling (which was just for 21 days) Oshiomhole had come back to the office and now the new development.

So, events has overtaken that. APC constitution is clear if only you can read.

16 NWC had meeting yesterday out of 21. At. Chairman Ajumobi + Oshiomole + 16 =18 members versus 3 on the side of your Giadom.

You must have forgotten that then there was no Deputy Chairman (South).

In that situation, APC constitution provides for someone from the zone of the chairman be appointed by others to act. That's how Giodom got appointed.

Between March and June, events has overtaken that.

Ajumobi had since filled that vacuum.

Then bcoz Ajumobi is indisposed, the other NWC members appointed, in line with the constitution, someone from the same zone of the chairman to act.

Now they picked Etta and not Giodom.

I hope I'm clear, sentiments apart.
