You are right that his base will come out but what makes you think the people that loathes him won't come out. To be honest, Sanders appealed to younger generation, not much to the older generation. He takes socialism to the extreme. Younflg people like freebies. Older Americans do not like socialism. Exactly. I know how they think. I work with people with conservatives beliefs both in the office and the field. I live in their community and know how they tick. They can't stand women in position of authority. They still think like they belong to the 1950s. Hardcore traditional values that they hold in high esteem, and won't let go of it.
