I saw Daddy G.O. post a video the other day about the rape case in Benin.

Man said he assures the culprit that he will continue to pray to God until the person us fished out.

Now here's my issue. Someone or some people raped and killed a reportedly pregnant woman in very the house of God.

Shouldnt that fact alone be enough to enrage God to strike the offenders dead on the spot? Or at least to fish them out?

What kind of God needs the pastor to continue to pray before he does the needful?

Why should he need reminders from a prophet in Nigeria to enforce the rule he himself wrote on tablets and sent to Moses.

Adeboye shocked me with that video. I watched it expecting to hear that he was promising to through the considerable resources of RCCG behind police efforts to catch the killer.

I expected him to appeal to his millions of members to keep their eyes out for the suspect whose name is allegedly already known(reportedly an RCCG pastor gangan)
Instead he told us he will be praying against rapists all over the globe.

I would have loved to comment on it, but religion is a sensitive issue, and I am usually hesitant to discuss it on a sports thread since football, unlike religion, is one of the things that unites people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.

I may create a thread about this later and invite you and other interested members to share their thoughts.

If you're referring to OtemAtum, the historian I mentioned his book here (in addition to other books of history by other authors), then there's no sense in making accusation without proof.

Again, if you feel you must join a cult or brotherhood for whatever reasons (best known to you), you can contact the author of other books of history or philosophy online and let them know your intention.

Just like with other books, you read a book, learn things from the philosophy and experience (if you're interested) of the author, and look for other seminal books to read if such is necessary.

I don't know why a reasonable person must form a cult, religion, or brotherhood around an author (a human like you), especially when that author is clearly against such.
