The peeling stuff is called, Polarizer film. It’s the fundamental technology that powers LCDs. Without it, LCDs won’t be able to create images. Give to a good technician, he’d peel all off and recover with another.

There's this little flicker beneath my screen that comes up on bright scenes, especially scenes with white color.

The most baffling thing is, it is perfectly normal with other scenes. It is really minor though, but it just annoys me to see it.

It’s a screen defect that may have been caused by stress to the screen some way, it may never go away nor expand. It’s one to live with boss.

Might be a board or power issue. Allow a professional technician look at it. It’s a minor issue

It’s called back light, boss. A couple of them are burnt out, they need replacement. Cost depends on the technician, and especially environment.
But what’s most important is, no go give quack o.

Cost won’t tear your pocket, boss. Trust me.
