Precisely at 21 years. I was opportuned to do my Siwes IT with one top oil management company. I was discouraged when I realized IT student were paid #19,800. So most of my friend turned it off. Sooner than later, I was properly introduced to the system. Which are weekend job Saturday and Sunday which pays 23k. So in a month, if you did 3week weekend job, you claim your money for 3wks 23k * 3. You don't even need to come just call someone to help you sign attendance. Also food allowance and transport only given to those who know about it. They rest money is into ogas pocket.

All of these only happens if you do well to ogas. There are lot of corruption in that system and if you are God fearing, you won't be liked by them. All I can say is Nigerians are very corrupt not only politicians but average worker.
NAPIMS abi? grin grin

You're generalizing, a lot of students use it for their accomodation and school fees, schooling in Nigeria is quite expensive. It has been of help to a lot of students and their families
is it still accessible?

I think that should be around 2014/15, I was 17/18yr of age, I won Bet9ja. it was a 112k precisely. So, out of Joy, I singlehandedly paid my immediate junior sister acceptance fee and bought a new phone for my Mum against their wish though.
I was just so happy then.

Schooling in Nigeria is expensive? Lol you're very wrong. Nigeria has one of the cheapest education anywhere in the world. School fees generally ranges between 15k and 50k for federal unis. Let's use 50k, that's about $130.

State unis usually range between 50k-200k. That's about $500 using the 200k scale.

$130- $500 for school fees? Where else in the world do you want to see such?

Lol, I made my first 100k at 19 or so..I spent everything on cloth, and shoe( competition dey for class that time) I bought two balenciaga shoe for 33k each and one Louis Vuitton palm 25k..
See ehn, I do big boy die
I made my first millions some months back ( I'm not joking, honestly) .. I foolishly lost ALL.. pls I'm not ready to disclose it cos the more I remember the more I hate myself and the more I feel enraged to hurt someone.. I lost out of greediness ( not really greediness per se, na over calculating and fear of being cornered)..

Lesson I have learnt is
1. Investment is the best thing you can do for yourself
2. Savings doesn't work sometimes if you are not the prudent type..
3.. u see all these latest gadgets like laptops, iphones etc.. go make you broke if your source of income is not sure( me I kuku dey change laptop well well).
4. No matter how small money u dey make, abeg dey save where your hand no fit touch ( if the money is not much to invest )

Although I'm still young, dumb and ...? grin

Who ask me story self grin

Tshawn, I think I know this moniker in person.
I might be wrong though but my instincts no deh disappoint.

Which federal school do you pay 15k and 50 k for school fees not forgotten other fees excluding the one lecturers squeeze out of students, in a country where majority earn below minimum wage of 30k, even 50 k for tuition for a child is expensive

Lol dude pay used to pay about 12k as at 2010. Unilorin pay around 15-20. Most federal school are like that. The education sectoras no business with your feeding and accommodation. Education is very cheap in naija if you ask me.
