One of Jorginho or Gilmour has to start versus City. Kante will be pressed into making mistakes with the ball, he's not as press resistant as those two. He can play alongside the starter to help put out fires in the midfield while Kovacic drives forward to help the attack.

Also, Pulisic has to start that game.

I can't really say much about the players anymore. Cos of lack of consistency of all Chelsea player.

I already put all trust in lampard to choose the best squad for every game for the rest of the season.. jorginho/gilmour might start against city now and flop and then we start walling about why he didn't start kante when he did against villa and worked..

As i am right now.. na in lampard I trust I dey so. Atleast for the rest of the season when the new players start coming in and maybe fix the inconsistency issue.

Forget Jorginho, he's not press resistant. Gilmour is the man for the job.

Exactly what I was telling my guys... Kante did well today, but wasn't really pressured.

Players like Jorginho or Gilmour will come in real handy against City.

And Alonso should not be starting that game. James - Azpi will be nice.

James make more mistakes than Alonso and Emerson combined defensively.

Although Alonso is slow, he barely makes tracking mistakes, he just gets burned for pace one-on-one. If Mahrez is on his wing, Mahrez is not the type to run you, but to dribble you inside, and Alonso is best placed to cope with that.

Diaz is my number one choice, knows how to defend and also very calm on the ball.

Conceding 10 goals at home in your last 2 games of a World Cup is probably worse than anything Rudiger has done. And Luiz was captain in the 7-1 massacre. Just saying.
