Hi everyone. A friend has intention of buying a new Samsung phone and he is specific, Samsung only! but he has a budget of 180k which cannot afford the latest Samsung flagship. So he is contemplating on buying the best mid-range Samsung phone which is A71 or an old 2018 flagship S9 Plus.
I have given my own opinion to him but he needs to hear from others on this forum as well, so please help him decide and give reasons why. Thanks.

go for s9+

Those A series are budget phones introduced by Samsung.

Imagine connecting A50 to a boombox, it couldn't give me loudness and bass that ordinary Samsung Galaxy Note 3 would produce. I am disappointed.

Go for S9+

he can go for the note 9

Go for A71 the 5g variant

I would suggest Galaxy Note 9

you can get s10e at slot for 190k, the last time I checked( 1 week ago).

If it's new one, go for the S9+ but if it's used he's looking for he can get an S10 for that price.

Yes if he's lucky to see such deals. Go to technology market, you'll have better luck there.
P.s - it'll be used/mint, not new one like I said earlier.

it's not about ranking tho... The Exynos chipset heats up unlike Snapdragon.
Do you really want your friend to buy a phone that will stop receiving software updates anytime soon? These are the things you need to consider not just because it's a flagship phone.
