Favoured Guber Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has cast his vote in the ongoing Edo APC guber Primaries.

Iyamu cast his vote this morning at Ugboko Ward in Orhionmwon LGA of the state. Iyamu is rumoured to have the backing of suspended APC national chairman and former Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomole.

The primaries have been going on peacefully despite the crisis rocking the party.

The process is free, fair, transparent and credible enough for everybody to see. I wish all political parties in Nigeria will adopt this system for choosing their candidates. It offers all card carrying members the opportunity to elect a popular candidate as against the indirect system that is manipulated by money bags and overbearing party leaders. This acting is needless, everyone knows that APC has anointed him as their candidate. By the way, be it Iyamu or Obaseki won't change the style of governance already used to by Nigeria politicians neither will it reverse the flood that damaged my properties last Saturday rain, due to the abandoned road construction project by NDDC. Same road that have been awarded severally & said to have been completed by the scam NDDC on media.
