For those of us currently in the field we can observe that Edo APC election is so peaceful as against the panic being spread by the outgoing governor of Edo state.
As a matter of fact, as we speak some wards has concluded their voting and the result is been collated. The voters are well arranged and all covid-19 protocols are being observed.
This is a vindication of the fact that the direct primary still remails the best form of party primary anywhere in the world especially in this pandemic. Oshiomole has indeed been vindicated.
With the manner in which the electorates are organized in the ward INEC will indeed learn from this in the conduct of the main election. This is the best way to prevent a pandemic and Edo APC has proven it.
APC has once again showed that power belong to the people by giving them the right to vote who they want directly instead of being bought by fat Ghana must go politicians.
Ironically, the PDP whose slogan is power to the people has never conducted a direct primary since inception in 1999, then one will question if they even believe in their own slogan!
We are proud of oshiomole and his achievements in the APC.
All those who want to kill democracy are free to join the PDP who we all know to be a trash can.
We also awaits the PDP primary in a few days time as we will be there with our cameras to see how they will maintain social distancing by converging over #5000 persons on one venue like 'sardine'.

You really think politicking is just ABC. What would stopping the primary achieve? All the noise for/against is just to destabilize your opponents and force them to make mistake.
While APC compiled with the Gazetted regulations (meaning they are not fools either), they may just have played into the hands of the other faction because
1. No INEC
2. The party register used is questionable (not by me or you)
In time, you'll see that only the Supreme court will decide APC's fate.
Had they sought resolutions it would have been better. But the further they go, the deeper the abyss they dig for the party.
Its we online that pretend to see it all, when the players themselves are not so confident.
