Item 2: 5+10+4 =19 (man + shoe + ice-cream)
Item 3: 4/2 =2 (half ice-cream)

10/2 + (19 x 2) = 43

5 + (5 + 8 + 10) x 2 = 51

the figures in bracket.
The Man = 5
2 Ice Cream = 8
Pair of boot he's wearing = 10
Total = 23

Therefore,
5 + 23 x 2
=51

Snicker is 5 per 1
Boy is 5
Pop corn is 2 per 1

5+(5x2)= 15

Modified -

Just saw the boy carrying 2 pop corn and he's also wearing the pair of shoes.

Invariably the sum is 43.

5(1shoe) + (5-boy +4 popcorn +10boy) + 2(1popcorn). =43.

It is not about what the boy is wearing.It is about the sequence of simple equation.The answer is 15 if you really do Arithmetics and Mathematics in primary and secondary Schools respectively

First line is a pair of shoes in 3 places = 30*
So a pair= 10;
1 leg = 5 grin

Simply 28
One shoe = 10/2 = 5
Boy = 5 + two cone in his hand= 4, making 9
Times half of the cone which is 4/2 = 2

5+(5+4)x2= 28..
