South Africa has no terrorist organization while nigeria is top 5 most terrorized country, nigeria is battling with Boko Haram, herdsmen, bandits and co. Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world while south africa has one of the lowest poverty rate in Africa. Nigeria is among the worst roads, schools, health care and power in Africa while south africa is competing with European countries. Nigeria is a zoo |

Ogamysamo:South Africa is no doubt the most developed country in Africa, but it as reached its limits development wise. I heard most foreign multinational companies now prefer setting up their regional HQ in Nairobi, it used to be SA. Even though the country as been able to produce some multinational companies (ie MTN, Shoprite, Standard Bank etc) replicating their success across Africa seems hard. Even more so they generally are not Pan African minded. For Nigeria, well we are still a long way to go, so when we reach the river we will know/decide if we would be able to cross it. |

Nigeria is a very useless country It's even annoying that Nigerians don't have a problem with that |

Lethal234:South Africa is supposed to be China of Africa, I mean manufacturing base of Africa. Looking at the infrastructure in place already, most of the imports in Africa should be coming from South Africa instead of China. The country has no business falling into recession because it's a well developed economy with solid structures. However, it seems her fundamental problems are hindering her progress and shifting things to places like Mauritius, Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria etc.... Nigeria on the other hand has most of the sectors under developed, unstructured, or simply "virgin". Once the country is able to come out of Boko haram and other security related crises, solve issues with electricity, the country would make tremendous progress. There would be a lot of young billionaires within a short time arising from IT, tech, agriculture, manufacturing etc. Obviously, before 2030 Nigeria would bridge her infrastructure gap, creates wealth, and give a wide gap to the second Africa biggest economy. |

Olominira:I agree SA is falling short and I think it's location in the continent also play a big role in this. For Naija, I won't hold my breath. 10years is really a short time to solve half the problems we have in this country. But if we stumble upon a leader with vitality and vision perhaps, anything short of that no game. |

Austine1213:I give it to you guys, no contention. But as I understand Ops post. Dominating and Helping Others Grow are two different things. Usa dominate it's continent, everybody grows in Europe (except weak ones of cause). And to your other question. UN Bank of China Heard Google too, and lots more |
