Fellow favored women,

I have been a silent follower of this thread. No need saying that every single comment has helped me in my trying to conceive journey. I love how you all are so supportive of one another. I am here to share the issues I had and steps I took. I believe this may be useful for someone as some of your comments were useful for me.

I had my traditional wedding in Dec 2018 and white wedding in March 2019. I was diagnosed with PCOS shortly after as we were trying to conceive with no result since traditional wedding. I just couldn’t wrap my head around it. I had been pregnant in the past and had an abortion because “we weren’t ready” then. My menstrual cycle was like a clock. Super regular! In my mind, it was either the doctor did not know what he was saying or there was an error in the result. I did HSG, turned out fine, Trans vaginal scan etc After a blood test, The doctor said I wasn’t ovulating on my own due to high prolactin (33ng). I was like which one is prolactin again? I don’t produce breast milk so what could be the issue?
Doctor prescribed Bromergon and Clomid which I used religiously. I would check my progesterone on day 21 and it would say I ovulated but nothing happened.

My husband was so supportive but I could tell he wanted a child too. He had baby envy when his friends announced their wives pregnancies. His side was clear. He had no issues.

After using bromergon for a while, I went to check prolactin again only to find out it had increased to 39ng. I was frustrated. Doctor changed to Dostinex and also prescribed metformin which I started taking everyday. Still no result.

I consulted a popular pastor on my difficulty in getting pregnant and he told me I had a spiritual husband and I needed deliverance. Hmmm I didn’t make it back for the deliverance somehow.

To cut the very long story short

Me and hubby started praying together every morning (we never used to do this). We would hold hands and pray after devotion. We stopped unnecessary arguments. I felt at peace in my spirit. I had taken Clomid 6 cycles back to back and decided I won’t anymore.

Also, I noticed I don’t get egg white cervical mucus which was a sign of ovulation.

Anyway, last month I read about a particular herbal bitter called Ruzu. I really cannot say if it played a role but it’s just one of the things I tried last cycle. I bought it and took 2capful morning and night from the beginning of my period. I also got Predicte OPKs to track my ovulation. We baby danced on the day of LH surge and after. We would do just one round per baby dance lol so we don’t screw up the spermatozoa inside already

Also, I got fresh raw egg. Inserted the egg white into veejayjay before we baby danced. I read that it can mimick the natural egg white and allow the sperm swim faster. I didn’t tell husband man about this as he might have disapproved it. Anyway, we continued baby dancing after ovulation just in case.

Finally!!!! 2 days ago I missed my period!!!!

I took a PT strip and tested and saw a faint line. Did another and saw clearer lines. AF still hasn’t come. I did another this morning and the lines are more vivid. I have not seen two lines in years!!!!! I am sooooooooo happy. The prayers worked. I can’t explain it. No visit to gynea and Jesus did it!!!!

I have no symptoms yet asides my missed period as I am still early on. My breasts fill heavy and that’s all. It’s really hard to believe. God has taken away my shame. Corona perhaps paved way for this. A blessing in disguise. God is merciful!!!

I pray that the Lord who has done this for me will do yours this month!! I also keyed into many testimonies such as this.

Keep the faith. He always comes through.
Congratulations dear.
You shall deliver safely
Amen.

Hello wonderful mama's. It's been a while I commented on this group. I TTC for about 6 years now and at a point I became depressed and shut the world out including this group. This year I decided I had enough of hiding and running away from everyone. I also felt I needed a support group to learn from our individual struggles and trials so here I am. So far my lost post here was when I got pregnant in 2016 and miscarried at 11 weeks. I had surgery for ovarian cyst in 2017 and since then it's been different cycles of clomid. I did hormonal profile and HSG in 2018 and tubes were ok. Hormone profile showed I didn't ovulate and I was placed on clomid for 4 cycles with no results. I took a long break again in 2019 then resumed this year. Unfortunately the doctors said I should hold on a bit until the pandemic has reduced. So for now I just take folic acid, some vitamins and exercise. I pray God answers us in due time.

It is well madam. Sometimes one little thing maybe what is standing in the way. Its takes a lot of prayers for God to finally reveal what may be i preventing conception. By the way have you confirmed the quality of sperm. Sometimes little issues like sperm not being in optimum health can cause delsy. If you are sure that you have no other issues apart from ovulation and hormonal inbalance, you can try omodara female corrective tonic. It can help in regulating you cycle and also promote ovulation. I hope this helps.

If you dont mind, i will also advise that you repeat all the test. Two years is a long time, anything could have happened since then. The kay word is never to quit, let us keep encouraging ourselves. Very soon you shall testify.

@ Meenah , you just took the words out of my mouth.

Often times, couple ignore the male factor: healthy sperm. The focus will be on the woman.

Pls repeat all tests:
Pelvic scan, hormonal analysis, HSG

Encourage your DH to carry out Semen analysis and culture

How old are you? Remember the higher your age, the less quality your eggs are.

Have you tried boost your egg quality with fertility supplements?

Lastly, when you are done with the tests, you can pm me for interpretation if you don't really understand them.

I'm not TTCing but I understand how devastating it can be.

I do pray for all TTC mothers especially those on this thread.

God will soon settle each and everyone of you!!!

Thick baby dust to you all!!!!

Thank you so much for the advice. My husband's semen analysis came out perfectly fine on two occasions. I wanted to repeat the tests since May but I was told to hold on till October. Please where can I get the omodara female corrective tonic?

Hey fruitful mamas, mothers of twins, triplets and quadruplets. Trust you are are doing fine.

It's been quite a while.

Trust we are all keeping hope alive. Try something new this cycle or tww, and God will come through for us.

Let's also learn new stuffs to spice up our marriage and and sex life coz TTC can't and will not make our homes boring.

I know we hate to think about this, but have you considered IUI or IVF? The former is way cheaper . I've been trying a little over 3 years and planning on going for IUI. Just got to know that it isn't that expensive.
Anyone with success stories care to share? so we can all learn.

Even if you feel that you don't have the money, when there's a will, there's a way. You just have to commit it to God's hands. Don't ever think these procedures means you are "helping God" no!!! What ever you choose to do, commit it into God's hands. The doctors may do these procedures for you, but it is only God that can guarantee the success.

It's weekend mamas, let's be interactive as possible.

Yes, unfortunately so.
IUI isnt recommended in the case of blocked tubes.
IUI process, the woman is given drugs/injections to help her ovulate...the process is monitored with scans..on or before the egg is released the man's sperm is washed and inserted in the woman's cervix so it reaches the eggs immediately it's released. So yes, the tubes have to be patent for the procedure to work.

Well, considering you can't predict what ovary eggs will be released from the month of trying the IUI, it's not advised.
Before proceeding to IVF, there's been several ways mamas have testified of unblocking tubes. That will be a more an option first. Serrapeptase with tubal flushing have helped unblock tubes.
But if age is a factor and there's funds available, then yes IVF will be the best route to go.

Thanks so much, this is explicit.

So sorry for the failed IUI and IVF I can relate as I have had two failed IUI cycles.

Please what was his count before he started taking letro.zole n also the dosage of letrozole he took.

Secondly the "combo" u mentioned what is it?

Hubby has taken Fertisan-M, provirion, Fertilaid (only the count), HCG and others but the count still remains 2million, maybe we should try this letrozole.
Combo is garlic, ginger, turmeric and zobo pepper soaked in water for 3 days. It’s taken to boost immune system and to treat infection. Good for both men and women but note it’s not good for ulcer patients. Dosage he took for letro.zole was a tab daily. His count was about 15 million but climbed to 60 million

Ma'am,For soft landing with IUI,things to be considered are

You must be PCOS free
Tubes must not be blocked
Fribroid must not be sitting in the baby's space
Semen count must be above 15million
Active motility not less than 30%

I got this info from Dr Ese's instagram page(thepeoples_doctors)

Meeenah:
First of all register in an hospital with good gyneacologist. You will be asked to go for some test which usually are HSG, Hormonal profile , pelvic scan ans Seminal fluid analysis and depending on the results you can start treatment. It is when you know what is wrong you can start to supplement. There is wealth of information available here that may be of help but you have to identify the problem first.
. Thank you ma'am
