Misterdhee1:he knew he wasn't going to be the chairman , he only played his role to ensure the NWC is dissolved ... I don't think that makes him a loser |

Ayed44:I do understand. We both agree that Giadom was only a hatchet man used in executing the job of removing Adams and clipping Tinubu's wings. Yes I concurr. Where i think we differ is the aftermath. The other faction led by Amaechi and El Rufai expected that having removed Oshiomole, Giadom would be left for some time as acting chairman so they could strategize. Amaechi for one has a lot of jobs Giadom could have done for him in Rivers state. But the immediate removal of Giadom is a shocker to Giadom and to the camp that used him. Lastly I implore you to stop thinking that the entire governors have got some sort of unshaken solidarity with one another. Politics is about interest and not about being governors in the same forum. Lemme give an example with Hope Uzodinma and Abdullahi Ganduje. These are 2 governors of Imo and Kano but it would be almost impossible for them to be more loyal to other governors than Oshiomole who staked his office to make sure they became governors. Lagos governor nko? Could he be more loyal to other governors than Tinubu? There is nothing like governors have hijacked anything. |

Jesusloveyou:Amechi just wants to be a Vice President to a Northern presidential candidate whereas Tinubu and his group want presidency. So who do u think the North will support to produce National Chairman of the APC? |

Ibadansun1:Your head IS correct. Those so-called political "analysts" for ThisDay have not gotten a single major political permutation right since shortly before the 2015, that I can remember. But oh, well, maybe they'll start getting it right sometimes going forward. ........ P34c3 |

Let him go and meet Oyegun and the likes who were hyping him that time... Agbo will settle his case. But because of 2023 Jagaban will step in... |

Zeus119:vice President to northerner, that is impossible, APC is different from PDP on that aspect of zoning, they can only support fayemi presidency through ameachi faction. what if buhari support osibanjo, which faction will buhari now support to produce osibanjo, by then, both faction will work together. that means osibanjo presidency is the best for APC, if APC must continue as a party. |
| Re: APC Crisis: Winners And Losers by Zeus119: 12:11pm On Jun 26, 2020 |
Jesusloveyou:I repeat, North is not willing or ready to concede power to any Southerner.in 2023. You have seen the plot being manifested already and u still believe they are doing all these for Fayemi? |

Bigleaf1006:The problem now is that the party is now in firm control of the governors, the more reason Tinubu's ambition might be in jeopardy. |

tesppidd:The removal of Gaidom was not a surprise to El-Rufai camp. It's part of the script. The decision to dissolve the NWC and appoint a CTC was not taken by buhari in his wisdom. The CTC list was prepared by the cabal, in collaboration with El-Rufai, Fayemi and co. As for Ganduje and Uzodinma, there is no permanent loyalty in politics. They will side with whichever faction that will best serve their interest, be it Tinubu faction or Amaechi faction. But I can assure u that for Uzodinma to realise his second term dream in the same party, he will have no other option than to switch his loyalty to where the party structure is. |

ThatFairGuy:As it stands now, Tinubu is totally irrelevant in APC. Tinubu mistake started when he denied Ambode his second term ticket. Buhari was busy planning for his second tenure, so he overlooked Lagos state crisis and let Tinubu play his card. Although he told Tinubu to let Ambode run for second term but Jagaban claimed the party members doesn’t want Ambode. Buhari kept mum because he wanted support from Jagaban, his supporters, Oshiomole, NWC etc for his second term. Now, Buhari has nothing to lose. He doesn’t need all those you mentioned above to push the button, it’s a work with me or dance with the masquerade. Right in front of those you mentioned, he was making changes that doesn’t even favor their Leader and they were busy smiling and clapping! Tinubu is just a ceremonial APC leader , Mohammed Buhari is the Alpha and Omega of the party . This is politics . |
| Re: APC Crisis: Winners And Losers by seguntijan(m): 1:32pm On Jun 26, 2020 |
I thought President Buhari was going to support Gaidom to act as the National Chairman of APC. I didn't know the man will be nothing in the party after the meeting he summoned. Giadom called for a meeting hoping that he will be approved by President Buhari and Silence Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu He was removed as acting Chairman right in that meeting.. Oshiomole's boy was made Chairman of Caretaker committee. The Governor of Osun State Oyetola was part of the committee Edo primaries ratified. Giadom displaced right in the meeting while the decisions went the way of The national leader of the party Jagaban despite not in the meeting. Even when his antagonists thought they have silenced him, president Buhari just kept silent are delivers a knockout punch. You might love him or hate him, but this was a Big win for the Jagaban. The man is a super political Strategist. MAY WE NEVER CALL FOR MEETING THAT WILL LEAD TO OUR REMOVAL |

Zeus119:you think it will be possible. I hate to discussed this issue about north retaining power as ipob are champion that misinformation. don't be deceive, nothing like that in APC. or don't tell me you're one of the ipob. ipob said they still preferred atiku, that is OK by them. 2023 is still far, so stop thinking like ipob |

Bitchiamjay:2023 is still far, buhari will handover to osibanjo. so tinubu will not shake the table now, until then. |

| Re: APC Crisis: Winners And Losers by Jesusloveyou: 2:21pm On Jun 26, 2020 |
Nodogragra4me:is it not his mouth in use in saying it. did he fought with atiku not to challenged him in court. anybody can also challenge his action in court. the consequences buhari is talking about is for someone like giadom to go back to court to still claim chairmanship. or for those that suspended oshomole and giadom in their various ward and faction to still say oshomole or giadom are not members of APC, such people will face his consequences, in another words, all past litigation are cancelled. that will not stop those who not satisfy with buhari decision not to go to court. |
| Re: APC Crisis: Winners And Losers by Jesusloveyou: 2:23pm On Jun 26, 2020 |

When there is a huge crisis in a Party (APC), every member loses. The only entity benefiting from this is PDP. |
