The truth is that, the xiaomi note 8 is more superior than the m11 spec wise, but since you interested in the specs, then go for the m11, its a 32gb variant. As for durability, the way you handle a phone matters alot, so go for the m11

I've just received Andriod 10 update notification for A20. To the guys that have updated, I hope they've been no issues so far, especially battery consumption?

A bit laggy while operating some apps like playstore or so, still checking it out.

I think there's no reason updating your phone if it still works properly, and are not really into the "NEW" ui changes.

Note however that as you update, samsung also nerfs your phone.
I updated my a30 And, yes the phone got noticeably faster and the new gestures and transitions are great, the downside was battery life got worse ( fixed it with a minor factory reset). I also noticed alot of bugs( sometimes it just hang and I have to force restart).

Some feature I once used, even those in GOODLUCK. have been disabled or removed entirely!
And image processing became worse.

The updates are ok...ITS NEEDED but they are not really updates if the add a few features and f*** up the rest IMO

Let him explain further cos if it affects the battery then there's no use upgrading.I value the battery life more than any feature the new upgrade will bring.

Charging time increased( I have a 15w charger that charges my phone full in about an hour and 10 minutes, but it increased to over 3 hours.) And the phone got hot easily which significantly contributed to battery brain. SOT reduced to about 5hours on normal usage when I was getting 7hrs plus.

I got annoyed, posted my issue on r/samsung. They advised me to factory reset which I did, and got the whole battery issue fixed.

Although the phone still freezes ( I noticed it happens when I run out of Ram).

Overall I'm kinda ok with the update, BUT know that you might have bugs‍♂️

The update is really nice. My battery now lasts much longer. I had almost 11 hours screen time yesterday after updating, and I was on 4G network through out

Oga you can still use nicelock on android 10. The update is very good IMO. My SOT is far better and the new features are a plus esp the new always on charging display. Update problems varies for devices and they are usually fixed in patches. E affect you no mean e go affect me.
PS. My only gripe is I can't use android 10 gestures with nova launcher.

Yes, android 10 gestures are only available for stock launchers, google has not made it available for other launchers

Google blocked it during the beta program on Android 10 for third party launchers for a reason best known to them
In my opinion Android is already getting restrictive and making it seem like an iPhone ,I hope Android 11 solves this because I love the gesture and tired of my default launcher.
Or maybe because Google made it mandatory it was implemented into every device running Android 10,they were probably too lazy to implement it into other launchers, plus the Android 10 animation is a big factor,Google only implemented it to the default launcher and not the system.
On Samsung devices there's a solution and it involves rooting or you wait for one UI 2.5 update.

Yep I use FINE LOCK, but I can no longer customize my navbar (not gesture bar) and I miss the full control I used to have for lock screen edits.

And I still prefer one ui home to any other launcher... its PERFECT
